Управління у відносинах з пацієнтами, які проходять курс фізичної терапії, відіграє дуже важливу роль, оскільки від його особливостей залежить постановка цілей і можливість їх досягнення, задоволеність пацієнта отриманими реабілітаційними послугами та суб’єктивна оцінка результату їх впливу на функціональний стан, якість життя. Мета. Визначити ключові особливості сторін взаємовідносин «фізичний терапевт–пацієнт» та фактори раціональної організації взаємодії в умовах центру з надання послуг фізичної терапії для осіб з порушеннями опорно-рухового апарату. Методи. Аналіз наукової літератури, синтез та узагальнення. Результати. Встановлено основні аспекти, умови і фактори взаємодії пацієнта і фахівців галузі охорони здоров’я, зокрема фізичної терапії. Розглянуто питання значущості професійно важливих якостей фахівців. Визначено, що особистість фізичного терапевта реабілітаційного центру для осіб з порушеннями опорно-рухового апарату, стиль поведінки можуть впливати на пацієнтів як позитивно, так і негативно. Відзначено, що наразі можливо використання класифікації молодшого медичного персоналу за І. Харді та класифікації за В. А. Ташликовим і для фахівців з фізичної терапії. Наголошено на важливості покращення якості послуг і врахування особливостей другої сторони відносин «фізичний терапевт–пацієнт», зокрема психотипу пацієнта. Висновки. Підбір для пацієнта правильного типу управління та відносин, фахівця з відповідними індивідуальними якостями, а також урахування суб’єктивних відчуттів під час застосування засобів та проведення процедур фізичної терапії мають бути спрямовані на підвищення ефективності програми фізичної терапії, зниження ймовірності її завчасного завершення з ініціативи пацієнта, підвищення рівня задоволеності пацієнта послугами, покращення якості життя.
