50%. Adaptation of the body to cold requires a multifaceted restructuring of the work of many functional systems of the body. A special role in adaptation to cold is played by the sympathetic nervous system and its neurotransmitters norepinephrine and adrenaline. In our work, we studied the receptor mechanisms of regulation of the tone of the arteries of the rabbit extremity to the neurotransmitter adrenaline during 10 days of cold adaptation. Pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic changes in the reactivity of arterial alpha-adrenergic receptors to adrenaline were studied by the Lineyover-Burk and Sketchard method. This made it possible to determine the number of active a-adrenergic receptors in the arteries and their sensitivity to adrenaline during adaptation to cold. The work shows that after 10 days of cold, the pressor response of the arteries to all 8 doses of adrenaline increased due to an increase in the number of active arterial adrenoreceptors by 32% and an increase in the sensitivity of adrenoreceptors to adrenaline by 50%.
The paper shows that cold adaptation changes the regulation of systemic pressure and peripheral arteries due to the mechanisms of different action of adrenaline and norepinephrine on the adrenoreceptors of arterial vessels and receptors regulating the reactivity of systemic pressure. After 30 days of cold adaptation of rabbits, adrenaline, when administered intravenously in eight doses, reduces its vasoconstrictive effect on the reactivity of systemic pressure, and norepinephrine, on the contrary, increased the pressor effect on systemic pressure. The effect of adrenaline and norepinephrine on the reactivity of the peripheral arteries of the rabbit’s hind limb after 30 days of adaptation to the cold also had the opposite effect, the contraction of the arteries increased after the cold on adrenaline, and the contraction of the arteries decreased on norepinephrine.
The work has shown that in working muscle blood fl ow is signifi cantly increased due to a sharp reduction in pressor sensitivity of alphaadrenergic receptors of the arteries of the rabbits after 30 days of adaptation to the cold.
In this paper, the analysis of the adrenoreactivity of systemic blood pressure and peripheral reactivity of the arteries of the rabbit’s hind limb to various doses of adrenaline after animals adapt to the cold for ten days was carried out. Our studies have proven that after adapting to the cold, the increase in blood pressure decreases with increasing doses of adrenaline. On the contrary, the contraction of the arteries after the cold was greater than in the control. The study showed that the reactivity of blood pressure changes in contrast to the reactivity of peripheral arteries under the action of cold. This can make a significant contribution to the mechanisms of analysis of the action of various drugs acting on the adrenergic receptors of the cardiovascular system when the body adapts to cold.
The paper shows that the increased blood flow during muscle contraction is carried out as a result of a temporary blockade of the alpha-adrenoreceptors of the arteries. This regulation mechanism allows you to increase blood flow in working muscles without changing blood flow in non-working muscles. After 30 days of cold adaptation of rabbits, the mechanism of increased blood flow in working muscles was preserved, changing quantitative characteristics.
