The morphological changes associated with duodenogastric reflux and the presence of H. pylori taken together are responsible for the increased activity and enhanced severity of inflammation in the lymphoid follicles. The leading symptom in the clinical picture of this condition is painful syndrome although the frequency of the painless clinical course is relatively high too. biliary reflux leads to the changes in the gastric mucosa in the form of inflammation, fibroproliferation, foveolar hyperplasia, branching rollers, painful manifestations; moreover, the presence of H. pylori infection introduces additional changes in the clinical picture of this condition, such as the further increase of the activity and severity of inflammation, foveolar and lymphoid hyperplasia.
