The paper studies the impact of distance learning on the formation of professional competence of artists in the context of globalization and informatization as one of the important structural elements in ensuring the educational process during the pandemic COVID-19. The main characteristics of distance learning are studied. It is established that due to the implementation of distance learning with the help of information technology opens up a number of opportunities for distance training of applicants for art specialties. It is established that the main goal of the implementation of the integrative model of professional training of applicants for art specialties by means of innovative technologies is to form generalizations by students to demonstrate the mastery and understanding of the research topic. The Журнал «Перспективи та інновації науки» (Серія «Педагогіка», Серія «Психологія», Серія «Медицина») № 5(5) 2021 455 criteria for assessing the social and emotional competence of students are proposed to measure the results of experimental research on the implementation of an integrative model of professional training of applicants for art specialties. It is determined that the transition to distance learning based on the application of the competency approach and the implementation of an integrative model will benefit both students and teachers. It is established that after the completion of the curriculum in the preparation of applicants for art specialties on the basis of the competence approach, the future specialist must develop skills in three profile dimensions of creation, implementation and evaluation and analysis. It is determined that as a result of training artists in the competency approach, they will gain the following key skills: open mind and the ability to go beyond the limits and experiment with new ideas; communication skills; analyticalness; critical thinking and research skills; ability to think; ability to respond effectively to feedback; teamwork and cooperation; time management and organizational skills; selfpresentation; consciousness; creativity; resilience and self-discipline.
