В статье представлены результаты изучения связи между этнической, гражданской, религиозной идентичностями, а также идентичностью с местом проживания и отношением к вступлению в межкультурный брак жителей двух регионов России: Московского региона и Республики Бурятия. Выборку составили представители трех групп: русские, проживающие в Московском регионе (N = 189), русские, проживающие в Бурятии (N = 111), буряты, проживающие в Бурятии (N = 102). Результаты анализа показали, что отношение к межкультурному браку не имеет кросс-культурных и кросс-региональных различий и является скорее положительным. Однако выявлены различия в выраженности социальных идентичностей, а также их роли в отношении к браку с представителем другой культуры. Русские, проживающие в исследуемых регионах, имеют кросс-региональные различия в выраженности этнической, религиозной и гражданской идентичности: в Бурятии они выше. Респонденты обеих национальностей, проживающие в Республике Бурятия, обладают более выраженными этнической, религиозной и гражданской идентичностями в сравнении с русскими, проживающими в Московском регионе. Результаты анализа с использованием моделирования структурными уравнениями показали, что существует негативная связь между этнической идентичностью бурят и их отношением к браку с представителем другого этноса. У русских из обоих регионов идентификация с местом проживания позитивно связана с отношением к браку с представителем другой культуры. Гражданская идентичность по-разному связана с отношением к выбору супруга другой культуры: у бурят эта связь положительная, у русских из Московского региона — отрицательная. Это может быть объяснено разным характером гражданской идентичности в данных группах: у русских из Московского региона она тесно сплетена с этнической, тогда как для бурят, проживающих в Бурятии, можно говорить о «надэтнической» идентичности, которая объединяет их со всеми гражданами России любой национальности и вероисповедания.
