The effect of an electrode material on electrical properties of a composite material based on super high molecular polyethylene (SHMPE) filled with carbon nanotubes has been studied using impedance spectroscopy. Using the method of replacing the sample by an equivalent electric circuit, it has been found that, depending on the electrode material, a blocking barrier with high active resistance and a space charge region adjacent to it arise in the interface region. It has been shown that the barrier height is controlled by surface electronic states of SHMPE and weakly depends on the electron work function of metal electrodes (Bardeen barrier). The characteristic times of electrical relaxation characterizing bulk and interface regions of the composite under study have been determined.
The article is devoted to the development of digital competencies among students of higher educational institutions. The study analyzed the digital competencies of students and the level of Internet use for receiving services and their self-education. The analysis showed that students have the simplest digital competencies, while about half of the students perform specific digital operations and use the Internet for self-education; moreover, there is a digital inequality between students living in urban and rural areas. At the end of the study, activities were proposed aimed at developing digital competencies among university students and reducing the digital divide among students living in urban and rural areas.
This work was based on empirical studies of the credit register and loans issued, which have been compiled by all Russian banks since 2017, for the analysis of bank interest rates by a common factor and subject to the control of the characteristics of the loan. These dates identified bank-specific components in the management information system; also, the same data were used to measure the fragmentation of the accounting lending market in Russia. This paper illustrates the credit market in Russia during the COVID-19 pandemic by analyzing the management of loan rates with existing differences due to the heterogeneity of banks and borrowers in order to achieve a sustainable management system. The results show that the heterogeneity of banks’ decision-making when setting interest rates is high and increased at an early stage of the pandemic. Additionally, the results demonstrate that the banks tightened interest-free lending conditions during the pandemic for sustainable management goals.
We present a design for a dual-jet arc plasmatron operating at a frequency of 66 kHz in an argon flow at atmospheric pressure. We present the results of determination of the temperature, electron concentration, and electrode erosion obtained by atomic emission spectral analysis. The proposed convenient design for a dualjet plasmatron and the low erosion of the copper electrodes in the plasma make it possible to use it for medical purposes.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
