ICAR. In the system of tribal working with dairy cattle breeds the process of accounting milk performance of cattle is the most laborious. According to existing regulatory documents, in Russia accounting of milk of cows is carried out once a month – in a control day for all the milking session (in the morning, afternoon and evening in case of three-time milking). Method of selection control of the milk quality, founded on accounting of only one milking session with subsequent automated transfer of data to daily rates using approved transferable coefficient, is applied by leading countries of the system ICAR. We examined the results of forming a regional database of accounting milk performance of cattle to make a transition to international standards ICAR in the system of development of livestock of Kholmogory cattle breed. The aim of research was a comprehensive assessment of modern Kholmogory cattle milk quality by 4 key accounting indicators, including concentration of fat and protein in milk and improving an automatized technology of making selection control of milk quality, considering breed characteristic of Kholmogory cattle breed. 4266 sessions of control milking (or 12798 sessions of milking) of dairy cows were made with tied housing and three-time milking. It was established during the research that Kholmogory cattle breed milk quality indicators of mass fraction of fat were high (4,14±0,012%) and quality indicators of mass fraction of protein were below the stated cattle breed standard (2,93±0,005%). A sharp decline in qualitative indicators of concentration of protein in milk of Kholmogory cattle breed we associate with consequences of mass hybridization of domestic breeds with the Holstein breed of cows and also with the lack of full-range selection at this characteristic in tribal breeding of Kholmogory dairy cattle breed. It has been identified that milk of Kholmogory dairy cattle breed has a higher consistency of lactose (5,01±0,003%). We have approved that milk of Kholmogory cattle breed corresponds to the existing requirement of Technical regulation at solid content characteristic (12,88±0,012%). It has been identified that most of controlled cows of the breed (more than 94%) have 40-60% of a specific weight of milk of total daily milking at a control day, taken in the morning session of milking. It has been identified that correlations between all accounting indicators (morning, day, evening) and control day indicators are very positive (from 0,70 to 0,96). The highest correlation meanings (from 0,92 to 0,96) are specific to mass fraction of protein consistency in milk at all the sessions of milking. Preliminary data of accounting indicators correlation of control milking session proves the possibility of transition to automated recount of daily control data and considering international experience of the ICAR system.
