Длительное бесконтрольное применение антибактериальных средств в сельском хозяйстве и животноводстве, в особенности с целью стимулировать рост животных, привело к распространению устойчивых форм микроорганизмов, что представляет серьезную проблему для общественного здравоохранения, поскольку такие бактерии могут становиться патогенными для человека, легко передаваться ему через продукцию и сырье животного происхождения или контаминацию окружающей среды отходами агропромышленных предприятий (C. Manyi-Loh с соавт., 2018; A.Н. Панин с соавт., 2017; N. Vidovic с соавт., 2020). Существует ряд механизмов, способствующих развитию устойчивости бактериальной клетки к одному или нескольким антимикробным препаратам: модификация мишени, на которую воздействует лекарственное средство; приобретение метаболических путей, альтернативных существующим (формирование метаболического шунта); избыточное производство фермента-мишени; ферментативная модификация или деградация противомикробного средства и активный эффлюкс антибиотика, то есть уменьшение накопления противомикробного препарата внутри клетки через снижение проницаемости стенки и/или активный эффлюкс антимикробного препарата из бактериальной клетки. Эти механизмы могут быть естественными для одних микроорганизмов или приобретенными -для других (M.F. Varela с соавт., 2021; W.C. Reygaert, 2018; А.Л. Бисекенова с соавт., 2015). Их понимание позволит выбрать наилучший вариант лечения для каждого конкретного инфекционного заболевания и разработать противомикробные препараты, препятствующие развитию резистентных микроорганизмов. Наиболее клинически значимые гены антибиотикорезистентности обычно расположены на разных мобильных генетических элементах (МГЭ), которые могут перемещаться внутриклеточно (между бактериальной хромосомой и плазмидами) или межклеточно (в пределах одного вида или между разными видами или родами) (C.O. Vrancianu с соавт., 2020). В основном передача генов антибиотикорезистентности происходит за счет горизонтального переноса, то есть посредством обмена МГЭ, например плазмидами или транспозонами, несущими гены антибиотикорезистентности, между видами бактерий, даже если они не относятся к близкородственным (S. Redondo-Salvo с соавт., 2020). Горизонтальный перенос генов между устойчивыми к антибиотикам бактериями и облигатной микрофлорой осуществляется с участием трех основных механизмов: конъюгации (с участием плазмиды), трансформации (с участием свободной ДНК) и трансдукции (с участием бактериофагов) (Y. He с соавт., 2020). При горизонтальном переносе трансформация между видами бактерий для передачи генов устойчивости к антибиотикам происходит редко. Конъюгация с участием мобильных генетических элементов служит наиболее эффективным и основным методом распространения антибиотикорезистентности (J.M. Bello-López с соавт., 2019).
