Круглые числаНаиболее грубым способом фальсификации результатов выборов является простое их выдумывание, из-за которого возникает преобладание психологически притягательных значений электоральных характеристик. В работе конструируются, обосновываются и исследуются тесты для выявления таких фальсификаций. Все эти тесты строго формальны, основываются только на официальных данных о результатах выборов и не используют каких-либо предположений о поведении избирателей или эталонных результатов. Особый акцент сделан на максимально возможном упрощении как самих тестов, так и способов представления результатов их применения, что должно сделать их общедоступными для использования и проверки.Для федеральных выборов 2000-2018 гг. выдуманные результаты в значимых количествах обнаруживаются для примерно 40% избирательных кейсов, из которых не менее 10% удается уличить индивидуально.
