The general goal is not only to map the forms of difficulties in online learning, but also to analyze the reasons for the delegitimization of teacher. The specific purposes of this study are: (1) Delegitimization of teachers due to online learning, (2) The teacher's response to the pandemic condition, and (3) the implications of delegitimization on the teacher's life. This study used qualitative methods to explore primary and secondary data sources. The results of this study show (1) the occurrence of online learning difficulties as a form of delegitimization of teacher; (2) the occurrence of difficulties in establishing communication patterns, allocation of free time, innovation of activities that have a positive effect; and (3) there is a loss of identity, and teacher commitment in overcoming the difficulties of online learning. This paper concludes that there has been a delegitimization of teachers in online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic.

This study aims to (1) describe the idea of an integrated curriculum in higher education, (2) depict its implementation at the university level, and (3) find out the impact of the curriculum on university development. This research used a qualitative approach. It employed a literature study. The researchers gathered the data from book reviews and related journals. Data analysis involved collecting the data, sorting, presenting, and drawing conclusions. The findings showed that (1) the idea of an integrated curriculum was depicted in a tree-shaped scientific structure; (2) the integrated curriculum was done by requiring all students to learn Arabic and English, as well as providing opportunities for all students to memorize the Quran and practice Islamic life; (3) integrated curriculum contributed to accelerating the development and internationalization of institutions. Moreover, it improved human resources competencies.Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) mendeskripsikan gagasan integrasi kurikulum pendidikan tinggi, (2) mendeskripsikan penerapan pemikiran tersebut di tingkat universitas, dan (3) mengetahui implikasi kurikulum terhadap perkembangan universitas. The sociological approach has an important role in solving various problems faced by mankind. This study aims to: first, examine the meaning of the sociological approach, second, explain the urgency of the sociological approach in Islamic education, describe the importance of the sociological approach in Islamic education, use it as a tool to understand religion because religion was revealed for social purposes, third examine the implementation of the sociological approach in Islamic education. The method used is library research by exploring primary sources, namely books and secondary sources in the form of national and international scientific journals. The results of this study indicate that: first, Islamic Education is a perspective or paradigm contained in a field of knowledge which is then used in understanding religion, studying the reciprocal relationship between religion and society, and the urgency of the sociological approach in Islamic studies is to formulate values or rules in society, tools to understand religion, second, the urgency of the sociological approach in Islamic education is to formulate values or rules in society, tools to understand religion, and theoretically be able to provide representative formulations in the scientific world, as well as being able to understand social phenomena with regard to worship in a significant way and muamalat, and third whereas one example of the implementation of the sociological approach is evidenced by the existence of tolerance in social relations in the community.
