College English is one of the basic core courses for all college students in China. The course involves many difficult concepts and grammatical structures, so it is difficult to most of the students. The starting point in any teaching program is to determine whether teaching is needed
to specify what that teaching should accomplish. So the students’ need is of vital importance to the success of college English teaching. Traditional college English teaching does not take into account students’ individual learning abilities and feedbacks, which would cause students
to grasp the key knowledge not enough, and then make students lose their interest in English. The purpose of this paper is to establish a college English teaching platform, and using artificial intelligence to find the needs of college students and know about mastering knowledge of students.
The platform can adjust the teaching schedule and contents through artificial intelligence algorithm. Statistical data of several years show that the average score of students who used the platform to learn college English is far higher than those students who didn’t use the platform.
Hence, the platform can improve students’ autonomous learning and English abilities.
Purpose
This paper aims to investigate the impact of green human capital (GHC) on green supply chain management (GSCM) practices (environmental education and internal environmental management) and sustainable supply chain performance.
Design/methodology/approach
This study used a survey method to collect data from 350 randomly selected manufacturing firms in China, including supply chain and human resource professionals from the period of December 2021 to June 2022.
Findings
The partial least squares-structural equation modeling version 4 is applied to assess the data and test the hypotheses. Under the notion of resource-based view theory, the findings demonstrate that GHC has a positive and significant relationship with GSCM practices (environmental education and internal environmental management) and that GSCM practices are positively associated with the sustainable supply chain performance.
Practical implications
This study offers implications for Chinese manufacturing firms to use GHC on dimensions of GSCM implementations for achieving environmental, financial and social performance.
Originality/value
This study finds that GHC as a critical enabler for implementing GSCM practices, resulting in more robust and better sustainable supply chain performance (environmental, financial and social performance).
The impact of entrepreneurial passion on business model innovation has become a research focus in the field of entrepreneurship. This study aimed to examine the effect of entrepreneurial passion on entrepreneurial learning and business model innovation. The study used partial least square-structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM 4) to test the hypotheses on a sample of 389 manufacturing and technology enterprises in the South region of Henan province China. The results of this study revealed that entrepreneurial passion has a positive and significant influence on entrepreneurial learning and business model innovation. The findings of this study showed that entrepreneurial learning positively and significantly mediates the relationship between entrepreneurial passion and business model innovation. Furthermore, the results of this study indicated that curiosity positively and significantly moderates the relationship between entrepreneurial passion and entrepreneurial learning. Lastly, the results are discussed with implications and limitations, which open up future research perspectives.
