Д. Currently, world statistics clearly shows the growing relevance of stress-related issues as a result of military and peacekeeping operations, wars and conflicts. Both military personnel and persons who are representatives of other professional areas are subject to a significant influence of stressful factors in the conditions of military aggression leading to a violation of their mental activity, and, consequently, complete or partial loss of combat capability and ability to work. The effectiveness of overcoming stress in such a case is to a great extent determined by a person’s ability to use available individual psychological resources. The purpose of the academic paper is to systematize the scientists’ standpoints regarding the features of the individual style of overcoming stress during military aggression, as well as to clarify the practical features of the issue outlined. Methodology. In the course of the research, system-structural, analytical-bibliographic, comparative, logical-linguistic methods, analysis, synthesis, induction, and deduction were applied to process scientific information on applying individual psychological resources in war conditions. A questionnaire was used to study practical issues on the research topic. Along with this, idealization was used to study and process statistical, analytical data and the survey results. Results. Based on the research results, information in scientific works on applying individual psychological resources to overcome stress in the conditions of military aggression was selected and systematized; certain practical aspects of this process were also clarified.
The ability of protein to reversibly bind with membrane components is considered to be one of the oldest mechanisms of cell response to external stimuli. Erythrocytes have a well-developed mechanism of an adaptive response involving sorption-desorption processes, e.g. interactions of key glycolytic enzymes and hemoglobin with band 3 protein. A few publications have shown that under oxidative stress, cytoplasmic enzymes such as catalase, glutathione peroxidase and рeroxiredoxin bind to the erythrocyte membrane. The present work is a continuation of research in this direction to determine the causes and consequences of the interaction of cytoplasmic proteins with the membrane under conditions of oxidative stress and different glucose content. Human erythrocytes were incubated for five hours at 20 °C in an oxidizing medium of AscH – 1 · 10–4 M, Cu2+– 5 · 10–6 M with different glucose content (0–8 mM). Dynamic changes in the accumulation of membrane-bound hemoglobin, the distribution of ligand forms of hemoglobin in the cytoplasmic and membrane-bound fractions, the activity of membrane-associated and cytoplasmic forms of Cu/Zn superoxide dismutase (SOD1) and catalase, H2O2 content in extracellular and intracellular media were recorded. It was shown that binding of catalase and SOD1 to the erythrocyte membrane is initiated by oxidative stress and is a physiological function aimed at complete inactivation of extracellular and H2O2 and protection against their entry into the cell. It was shown that under conditions of glucose depletion and oxidative loading, catalase and SOD1 bind to the erythrocyte membrane, leading to inactivation of these enzymes. Membrane-bound hemoglobin was higher in cells incubated under these conditions than in glucose experiments. Glucose introduced into the incubation medium in an amount 4–8 mM causes complete binding of SOD1 to the membrane of erythrocytes, by involving it in the processes of casein kinase stabilization and glycolytic fluxes regulation. With mild oxidation, the amount of hemoglobin bound to the membrane does not change, indicating the presence of certain binding sites for hemoglobin with membrane proteins. We show that the activity of membrane-bound SOD1 along with the content of ligand forms in the composition of membrane-bound hemoglobin are informative indicators of the metabolic and redox state of erythrocytes.
Reliable determination of metabolic and physical activity pa- rameters and influences of blood pressure indicators is relevant in the development of rehabilitation training programmes for people of all ages, especially in the context of the COVID-19 pan- demic and the aging of the working population. The purpose of the study was to determine reliable parameters that were shaping general health during the COVID-19 pandemic crisis in the age- related aspect. This study used the results of comprehensive health monitoring data of 603 adults aged 20–89 from the Human Health Passport online tool (Ukraine) for the period of 2020–2022. On- line health monitoring showed the consequences of mild forms of COVID-19 disease. The main indicators informing about this effect were the laboratory-method indicator for confirming a viral disease and the number of cases of mild forms of the dis- ease. The indirect influence of this factor on various indicators of health, physical activity, metabolism, indicators of blood pressure compensation should also be considered. As for the age aspect, the state of health had a higher influence on the indicators of body mass index (BMI), blood pressure and its correction with drugs, the daily walking distance and exercises performed, and a danger- ous loss of appetite. A noticeable drop in body weight and loss of appetite are reliable factors in the incidence of falls and decline in health. The leading factors shaping the health of the active popu- lation in mild forms of COVID-19 are physical activity (7.77%), metabolism (5.91%), and the blood pressure level (5.21%).
