Bu çalışmanın amacı, Türk müziği alanında konservatuvar öğrenimi gören öğrencilerin geleneksel dans ve müziklerdeki ritmik yapıyı görsel ve işitsel açıdan algılama becerilerini ölçmektir. Çalışmaya Gaziantep Üniversitesi Türk Musikisi Devlet Konservatuvarı Türk Müziği (n=20, %50) ve Türk Halk Oyunları Bölümlerinde (n=20, %50) öğrenim gören toplam 40 öğrenci katılmıştır. Katılımcıların görsel ve işitsel ritim algılarındaki başarı durumlarını ölçmek için araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilen ve beş uzman tarafından onaylanan test soruları ve görüntüler kullanılmıştır. Katılımcılardan elde edilen verilerin normal dağılım varsayımlarını karşılayıp karşılamadıklarını belirleyebilmek için verilerin normallik analizi yapılmış ve verilerin normal dağılım gösterdiği tespit edilmiştir. Katılımcıların cinsiyet, bölüm ve sınıf değişkenleri açısından görsel ve işitsel ritim algıları arasındaki farklılığın belirlenebilmesi için parametrik test olan Bağımsız Örneklem T testi yapılmıştır.
Müzikte olduğu gibi hareket eğitiminin de temelini ritim oluşturur. Ritim, hareketin akımının düzenini ve periyodik tekrarını sağlayan bir uyarıcı niteliğindedir. Spor ve konservatuvar eğitiminde ritim algısı başarıya etki eden önemli bir faktördür. Bu araştırmada spor ve konservatuvar eğitimi alan üniversite öğrencilerinin ritim algıları incelenmiştir. Çalışma, 2020-2021 öğretim yılında Gaziantep Üniversitesi Spor Bilimleri ve Türk Müziği Konservatuvarında öğrenim gören toplam 75 öğrenci üzerinde yapılmıştır. Çalışma grubunun ritim algılarındaki başarı durumlarını ölçmek için Müzikal Kulak Testi kullanılmıştır. Araştırmada elde edilen veriler arasında karşılaştırma yapmak için Independent Samples T testi ile One Way ANOVA parametrik testleri kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen bulgular neticesinde, konservatuvar eğitimi alan öğrencilerin, spor eğitimi alan öğrencilerden anlamlı düzeyde daha yüksek ritim puanı aldığı tespit edilmiş (p<0.05) ve ritim testi puanlarının bölüm değişkeni açısından anlamlı düzeyde farklılaştığı görülmüştür. Çalışmanın verilerine dayanarak ritim algısının spor eğitimi alan öğrencilerde daha düşük olması aynı zamanda hareketin algı ve uygulamasında da sorunlar yaşayabileceği söylenebilir. Çünkü istemli ve düzenli hareketlerin yapılabilmesinde ritim uyarıcı niteliğindedir. İnsanın içindeki bu uyarıcının, geliştirilmesi ve organize edilmesi ritim eğitimi ile mümkündür.
Bu çalışmanın amacı konservatuvar eğitimi alan bireylerin durumluk ve sürekli kaygı durumlarının müzikal algı-hafızalarına etkisini incelemektir. Araştırmaya Gaziantep Üniversitesi Türk Musikisi Devlet Konservatuvarında öğrenim gören toplam 146 öğrenci katılmıştır. Araştırmada veri toplama araçları üç kısımdan oluşmaktadır. İlk kısımda katılımcıların özelliklerini belirlemek için Kişisel Bilgi Formu, ikinci kısımda müzikal algıhafızalarını ölçmek için geliştirilen Müzikal Kulak Testi, üçüncü kısımda ise durumluk ve sürekli kaygı durumlarını belirlemek Durumluk ve Sürekli Kaygı Envanteri kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen veriler gerekli ön işleme tabi tutulduktan sonra durumluk ve sürekli kaygı durumlarının katılımcıların müzikal algı-hafızalarını ne ölçüde yordadığını belirlemek için çoklu doğrusal regresyon analizi uygulanmıştır. Elde edilen bulgulara göre katılımcıların melodi ve ritim algı-hafıza puanları ile durumluk ve sürekli kaygı düzeyleri arasında negatif yönde yüksek düzeyde anlamlı bir ilişki olduğu görülmüştür. Ayrıca durumluk ve sürekli kaygı, katılımcıların melodi algı-hafıza puanlarının %10,4'ünü, ritim algı-hafıza puanlarının ise %25,7'sini yordadığı görülmüştür. Çalışmadaki elde edilen en önemli sonuç, yaş ve müzikle ilgilenme süresinin artışı özellikle durumluk kaygı düzeyinin azalmasına sebep olmasıdır. Ayrıca katılımcıların melodi ve ritim algılarını kaygının yordama gücünün oranının yüksekliği, müzikal başarıdaki etkisinin bariz göstergesidir. Başarının belirleyicisi olan performans kaygısının varlığından ziyade düzeyi önemlidir. Bu durum müzik eğitiminde başarıya etki eden ve hatta kariyeri sonlandırabilecek kadar önemli bir sorundur.
