A 50-year-old woman presented with a 5-year history of multiple, asymptomatic, skin-coloured translucent papules ranging from 2 to 6 mm in diameter, mainly distributed on the periorbital and malar areas (Fig. 1). The lesions worsened in summer and under warm conditions. An incisional biopsy was taken from a lesion on the cheek.
Histopathological findingsHistological examination revealed a normal epidermis. The dermis showed three cysts lined with two layers of cuboidal or flattened epithelial cells. No decapitation secretion was observed (Fig. 2a,b).
