Child games hybridized with the television screenThe study addresses the relationship between child plays and television. Starting from the point/ based upon the arguments that child games/ kids plays are hybridized with the television screen , the study aims to put forward the transformation of self-initiated kids plays which were used to re-enact the adult world once upon a time. The study is designed within a qualitative approach. In the study, the answers are sought for the questions such as "What is the relationship between the child plays and the television?", "Are there any traces from the television shows in the child plays?", and so on. In this context, some field studies were carried out in nine state kindergardens located in the center of Sivas during the spring semester of the 2015-2016 academic year. As a result of the study, it is observed that children now, produce their games from some popular television stories and characters. Because of that it is possible to say that the play is hybridized .
Reproduction forms are important in the transfer of tales from generation to generation, which are products of oral culture. Structural, ideological changes are inevitable in fairy tales during reproduction. One of the examples of fairy tales where these changes are clearly felt is Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. The subject of the study is the reproduction of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. The purpose of the study is to reveal what kinds of changes were made in the reproduction of the Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs and what ideological, economic and cultural concerns they were made. In light of this problematic, three forms of this tale are examined. In the study, firstly, the fairy tale written by German Grimm Brother in 182, secondly the Disney's animation adaptation of Grimm's fairy tale in 1937, and finally the adaptation of Ertem Göreç from Disney's cartoon in 1970 were discussed. In conclusion, it is possible to say that the story of Snow White and the Seven Dwarves has been subjected to structural changes with ideological concerns every time it is produced from oral narrative to written narration, animation narration and cinema film narrative.

This study addresses the contribution of Ismayıl Hakkı Baltacıoglu. Like many intellectuals Baltacıoglu presented leading opinions with regard to communication science and communication means while he expressed his thoughts in his own specialization field. He mentioned that mass media played a founding role in the civilization of society. He conducted detailed studies on culture and defined the degeneration of culture through its fast production and consumption with the concept of 'value anarchy'. He also counted the communication tools such as newspapers and magazines among the reasons for the formation of 'value anarchy' in the society, and made studies on these tools. He mentioned that the newspaper could not be neutral because it conveys ideas as well as news. He emphasized the language issue among his culturalist ideas and emphasized that the language they use should be in Turkish in order to increase the reading rates of the newspapers. He mentioned that newspaper staff should be well educated in order for newspapers to maintain their reputations. He divided Turkish press history into three periods as 'instructive, flaunting and experts'. He considered local press as a substantial factor in preservation and improvement of folklore and defined those newspapers as 'provincial newspapers'. He distinguished magazines from books. This study tried to reveal the contributions of İsmayıl Hakkı Baltacıoğlu to the communication sciences via symptomatic reading. The study includes Baltacıoğlu's ideas about newspapers and magazines.
