ZusammenfassungIn der vorliegenden Arbeit wurden Daten zur Dysfunktion der Pars Intermedia der Hypophyse (Pituitary Pars Intermedia Dysfunction=PPID), auch bekannt als Equines Cushing Syndrom (ECS), mittels Fragebögen an Pferdebesitzer erfasst und ausgewertet. Die betroffene Population, der Verlauf der Erkrankung, die Art der Diagnosestellung und die Therapie wurden beurteilt. Es wurden insgesamt 257 Fragebögen ausgewertet.
