The research was conducted with the new public management paradigm; the community as the recipient of services is considered a customer. The study aims to reveal the relationship between training and employee performance in the public sector with knowledge sharing indicators as a mediator for both. This research uses a quantitative approach to SEM-Amos analysis tools. The sample was selected using a purposive sampling technique to the Civil Servants (CS) in an online questionnaire to participate in this study. The results showed that as many as 149 samples answered the questionnaire and had attended leadership training and other training. The results showed that the role of leadership training and additional training for training assessment tools to increase knowledge sharing was very influential compared to functional training, technical training, and other training. Although leadership training and further training significantly impact increasing knowledge sharing, they have not improved work-life and CS Performance quality. On the other hand, knowledge sharing shows an indirect effect on CS performance compared to its direct impact.
This study examined cultural and organizational motivations for success through organizational engagement and work motivation in the Department of Public Works in the province of Maluku, Indonesia. The approach used for this study was quantitative, using a survey. The Department of Public Works of the Province of Maluku was the research site with a sample of 149 participants. The analysis method used in this study was Generalized Structured Component Analysis (GSCA). The main findings were 1) organizational culture has a direct effect on organizational engagement and a direct contribution to employee performance, 2) organizational culture impacts company performance, 3) organizational environment has a direct effect on employee motivation and employee performance, and 4) organizational environment supports company performance. The results indicate that the organizational environment can be increased by formulating regulatory policies and establishing rules and strategies for employees to carry out their duties. Motivation for work can be boosted by giving awards that match the results of work. In building an organizational culture, attention needs to be paid to the values contained in organizational culture, consisting of corporate empowerment, team management, clarity of vision, direction, and corporate goals.
The relationship between agricultural extension and farmer productivity has been widely discussed; agricultural extension directly or indirectly affects farmer productivity. In this study, the researchers attempted to elaborate on this matter by looking at it from the rural wing based on the human resource and human capital theory. This study uses a quantitative explanatory approach. The analytical tool used is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) as a fundamental data analysis using AMOS software. The population in this study were all agricultural extensions in South Sulawesi and West Sulawesi. The sample was taken using the accidental sampling technique; it included only the completed questionnaire in the data analysis. Until the time limit, only 122 agricultural extension people filled out the questionnaire and were declared complete. Research shows that rural extension has a significant positive effect on soft-skill competence and not substantial on farmer productivity. Furthermore, soft-skill competence significantly affects farmer productivity and is a good mediator in increasing farmer productivity. The results show that it could improve farmers' productivity, not because of direct extension but because the farmers' soft competence increased due to interventions from the quality of agricultural extension workers. Therefore, good quality agricultural extension agents will encourage the rural farmers' ability to solve problems. Make systematic planning and communication skills that will help them build relationships with colleagues and stakeholders, improve ethics, discipline, increase their skills and experience.
The influence of social media in providing the information is undeniable in the current era. How the information is received is then processed as a helpful reference in deciding the purchase is always an exciting thing to discuss. Based on Self-Determination Theory (SDT), in this study, we examined how motivation arises in the form of fear if left behind or not involved in an excellent condition when consuming a product—through quantitative. Data approach collected from 231 sample people, then processed with Structural Equation Modeling using AMOS 23 through Confirmatory Factor Analysis and Model Fit Testing. The study results confirm that social media content can increase fear of missing out (FOMO), encouraging consumers to make purchases. The results of this study show that purchasing decisions influenced by FOMO can provide satisfaction for consumers. Situational Determinants, namely Perceived favorability and Self-relevance can significantly influence FOMO compared to personal traits (fears, worries, and anxieties). The results of this study are in line with Self Determination Theory, where the personal motivation of consumers in making purchases will encourage the creation of satisfaction.
Bureaucratic reform’s goal regarding the tourism is to increase tourist attractiveness by analyzing cultural tourism development efforts from public services. The type of research used is phenomenology. Determination of informants was determined by the snowball method, with data collection techniques carried out by observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation. This study used 9 informants, 3 domestic tourists, 2 foreign tourists and 4 people from the local government. The data analysis technique used follows an interactive model which includes collection, data condensation, data presentation, and verification/drawing conclusions. The results showed that good service by the regional government of Tana Toraja regency would be directly proportional to the development of tourism objects through the application of information technology as a marketing medium, namely by using online media to be a guide to the progress of the tourism sector. Service quality affects the attractiveness of tourist objects, organizations that manage tourist attractions, and tourists themselves. The success of the bureaucratic reform carried out by the local government of Tana Toraja Regency in the tourism sector regarding public services has a positive impact in increasing the number of tourists.
Effectiveness training can encourage teacher performance and knowledge management, and soft-skill competence to strengthen the relationship—this study conducted with a quantitative approach. The analysis tool uses SEM-Amos version 23. The population in this study were 18240 teachers in South Sulawesi Province. The sample was determined by accidental technique, with a sampling target of at least 100 people who filled in early. Only 236 teachers filled out the questionnaire until the specified time limit, and it was declared complete. Effectiveness training proved to encourage teacher performance improvements during the COVID-19 pandemic. This empirical evidence answers the researcher's assumptions and, at the same time, adds to the limited reference to the relationship of the conceptual framework built in this study. This study shows that practical training can encourage internal organizational development, especially in improving employees' ability to share and problem-solve to enhance teachers' skills. Using an online survey, the study examined creativity in adapting the teaching and learning model during the COVID-19 pandemic in Indonesia. The research used an online survey of civil servant teachers, honorary teachers, and contract teachers, using a non-probability sample. The responses of 417 respondents were analyze using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) Amos. The learning system was carried out remotely using information technology. The study found that management, efficiency, quality, increased during the Covid-19 pandemic. The study argues that paying attention to the suitability of methods, training participants, quality of content, and improving impacts teaching-and-learning effectiveness.
A research has conducted on the formulation in dosage forms gel peel-off masks. This study aims to determine the optimum concentration of polyvinyl alcohol as a film forming and propylene glycol as a humectant in the physical and chemical preparations of pumpkin juice peel-off gel mask, gel masks optimum formula stability and antioxidant activity of preparations. Obtained optimum formula is formula 1 with a PVA concentration of 10% and 10% PG and then to evaluate the quality characteristics of the physical and chemical stability of the spread involved testing, pH, viscosity and drying time. Observations were made each week for 4 weeks of storage at room temperature. Data were analyzed descriptively and statistically using paired sample t test. The results of the study gel mask peel-off at the optimum formula shows the preparation is stable during storage where no significant changes in each test parameter. The antioxidant activity of peel-off gel mask the relatively strong expressed by damping optimum percentage formula on day 2 was 75.18% and 73.37% at day 30 after storage at room temperature.
