Statistics can be used to state a collection of facts, generally in the form of numbers arranged in tables or diagrams that describe or describe a problem. Applying statistics to research is an advantage that a researcher has when conducting research. In addition to making it easier for students to analyze data, students also have a relatively shorter time in calculating the data they get. Statistical data processing training using SPSS for students is carried out with face-to-face methods, and spss program application practices run smoothly and well. Activities are carried out gradually from the presentation of concepts that are continued by the practice of the given concepts. Participants follow the activity enthusiastically; this is indicated by questions and responses regarding the material provided. Statistical program training for students in this community service program that has been carried out is expected to provide the understanding and teachers' ability to use statistical programs that will have an impact on increasing research productivity at IAI Pangeran Diponegoro Nganjuk
Writing is an enormous challenge to produce a coherent, fluent, and extended piece of writing in one's second language. This research aims to find out the effectiveness of the process approach than the product approach in teaching writing and the interaction between teaching approaches and students' self-confidence in teaching writing. This research was an experimental study. The research was conducted at second-semester students of IAI Pangeran Diponegoro Nganjuk in which each class consists of 30 students. Writing test and selfconfidence questionnaire was distributed to obtain the data. The researcher analyzed the data by using descriptive analysis and inferential statistics with ANOVA and Tukey's test. The research findings showed that students who were taught using the process approach have better writing ability than those who were taught using the product approach. Thus, teachers are suggested to apply process approach by considering students' characteristics, especially based on their self-confidence.
The headmater has a very important role and responsibility for education innovation in school both micro and macro scale. Vocational education in Indonesia as part of the national education system has a very strategic role for the realization of skilled labor. So the success of vocational education at public vocational secondary school in Tulungagung East Java Indonesia makes the central role of headmaster in the revitalization of vocational education. The results of the research are found that headmaster role is very important in the revitalization of vocational education at public vocational secondary school in Tulungagung East Java Indonesia such as the leader, manager, administrator, and supervisor. Kepala sekolah merupakan salah satu elemen dasar bagi kemajuan sekolah. Kinerja kepala sekolah merupakan tanggung jawab pengawasan. Pengawasan adalah menentukan apa yang telah dicapai, mengevaluasi dan menerapkan tindakan korektif, jika perlu memastikan sesuai dengan rencanaStrategi yang dilakukan oleh pengawas dalam meningkatkan kinerja kepala sekolah yaitu pemantauan, pemeriksaan, penilaian dan perbaikan. Kinerja kepala harus ditingkatkan dan diprioritaskan. Kepala sekolah sebagai administrator dan manajer pendidikan memegang kedudukan yang sangat penting, karena merupakan faktor penentu keberhasilan sekolah dalam menjalankan peran dan fungsinya di masyarakat, ia juga turut menetukan keberadaan sekolah tersebut di tengah-tengah masyarakat dan kemampuan dalam merespon kebutuhan-kebutuhan dan harapan masayarakat. Metode penelitiannya adalah kualitatif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitiannya adalah 1) Rencana program kepengawasan dalam meningkatkan kinerja kepala MAN 2 Tulungagung adalah melakukan identifikasi masalah, menyususn program pengawasan, melaksanakan program kepengawasan, mengevaluasi dan menganalisis hasil pengawasan, serta melakukan pembinaan berdasarkan hasil evaluasi. 2) Pelaksanaan Kepengawasan dalam meningkatkan Kinerja Kepala MAN 2 Tulungagung adalah: (a) melakukan pembinaan terhadap guru, kepala madrasah dan tenaga kependidikan yang berada di wilayah binaannya, (b) melakukan penilaian terhadap kinerja guru, kinerja kepala madrasah dan kinerja seluruh staf sekolah, dan (c) melakukan evaluasi dan monitoring pelaksanaan program sekolah beserta pengembangannya. 3) Evaluasi dan Tindak Lanjut Hasil Pengawasan dalam meningkatkan Kinerja Kepala MAN 2 Tulungagung , beberapa langkah kegiatan pengawasan yang harus dijalankan oleh seorang pengawas adalah evaluasi dan tindak lanjut setelah dilakukan penilaian, pembinaan dan pemantauan, selanjutnya melakukan tindak lanjut pengawasan ini dilakukan berdasarkan pada hasil evaluasi secara komprehensif terhadap seluruh kegiatan pengawasan.
