The aim of this work was to study the effect of the antidiarrhoeal feed additive «Afluxid» on the quality of the meat of broiler chickens. The results of organoleptic, physico-chemical studies are shown. Organoleptic indicators of poultry meat of the control and experimental group showed no differences and characterized it as good quality, meeting the requirements of GOST 31470-2012 «Poultry meat, by-products and semi-finished products of poultry meat. Methods of organoleptic and physico- chemical research». The results of organoleptic, physico-chemical studies indicate that the use of the feed additive «Afluxid» had no negative impact on the quality of poultry meat.
The article presents the results of comparative study of intestinal microflora of broiler chickens of cross «Ross 308» when using a feed additive «Afluxid». It is established that the total amount of conditionally pathogenic and undesirable microflora (Staphylococcus aureus, Proteus vulgaris) in birds of experimental groups, which received the supplement with feed was not detected, and the amount of beneficial microflora increased by 53 % in comparison with control which indicates the normalization of intestinal microflora.
