Digital literacy-based learning is needed for deaf students in understanding style and motion material. Application assisted learning in the form of e-books is specially designed for the deaf with an attractive design, which is accompanied by visual animations of the application of style and motion in everyday life. Thus, the understanding of the material obtained is not only through text. But animations of every kind of style and examples. The pupose of this research is to develop and determine the feasibility of digital literacy based learning designs for deaf teenagers. The development method used in this research is the Dick, Carey and Carey development model with nine stages. The results of this research a digital literacy based learning design for style and motion materials for deaf adolescents referring to the 2013 curriculum. 80% percentage, material expert validation shows 83,5% percentage, and 82.25% special education expert validation. So, the development of digital literacy-based learning designs for the deaf meets the feasibility needs.
Students with hearing impairment (deaf) who have obstacles in processing mathematical concepts can experience this anxiety and fear, which causes them to dislike mathematics. The purpose of this research is to develop a game media of mathematics on geometry materials for tenth grade students with hearing impairment in high school special education. This research refers to the steps developed by Borg and Gall 1989 modified into 9 steps. The main field test subjects were 2 people with hearing impairment. The subjects of the operational field test were 12 people with hearing impairment. The results showed that multimedia according to content experts was very valid with a percentage of 87,5%. According to the media expert it was valid with a percentage of 76,67%, and the results of the SMALB teacher validation of 90,91% means very valid. The main field test is very valid with a percentage of 88,33%. The operational field test is very valid with a percentage of 85,83%. It was proven that 66,67% of the trial assessors considered the developed media to be very valid to use and the remaining 33.33% assessed that the developed media was valid to use
The purpose of this study is to create instructional materials for Methodology of Research based on Scientific Publications for Special Education Master Program to support publications in accordance with the Standards of Higher Education that publish scientific work in international journals. Four-D Thiagarajan development research methods (Define, Design, Development, Dissemination) were implemented in 2 years. Data are collected by questionnaires, and interviews, observations, and documentation. Moreover, data are analyzed by interactive techniques. Define stage result showed that: (1) initial-final analysis: problem in scientific work publication of Special Education Master Program not complied yet to DGHE (Directorate General of Higher Education) standard; (2) learner analysis; (3) concept analysis; (4) instructional materials Research-based publication literature; (5) objective formulation: 15 theoretical and practical objectives are formulated, the focus of nationalinternational journal-publishing practice. The design stage produces a map of instructional materials and contents and physical book design. The product is an initial draft that requires refinement and further research.
