In contrast to TF vascular access, TR percutaneous coronary revascularization for UPLM disease is feasible and associated with similar procedural success, abbreviated hospitalization, reduced bleeding, and comparable late-term clinical safety and efficacy.
Airway obstruction is common in IPAH, CHD-PAH and CTD-PAH patients. CTD-PAH patients have lower DL(CO). Hemodynamics, serum markers and exercise capacity parameters did not correlate well with pulmonary function indices.
Patients presenting for TAVR in China have a very high frequency of bicuspid valve morphology. Even in tricuspid disease, there are clear differences to Western patients, with a high calcium burden, which presents challenges for TAVR in this population (ClinicalTrials.gov NCT01683474).
Patients who underwent LM PCI by high-volume and experienced operators had better short- and long-term prognoses. Operator experience is an important factor in a complex intervention such as LM PCI.
The study showed that PTA improved subjective symptoms and objective variables of the patients with symptomatic pulmonary stenosis in TA, with an acceptable mortality. PTA may be a promising therapeutic strategy for symptomatic pulmonary stenosis in TA.
