Shell and tube heat exchangers have great thermal stress due to the different
fluid temperature and instability of the flow field. In this paper, based on
the fluid physical model of shell and tube heat exchanger, the velocity
field, pressure field and temperature field inside the heat exchanger are
simulated and analyzed on Workbench platform. The numerical simulation shows
that the baffle plate has a great influence on the internal flow field of
the heat exchanger.
