Surfactant-zirconium phosphate composites were prepared by surfactant cetyltrimethylammonium bromide intercalating to α-zirconium phosphate. The interlayer spacing of the lamellar structure was greatly expanded to 39.6 Å, as compared to 7.6 Å of α-zirconium phosphate. The molar ratio of surfactant to α-zirconium phosphate in the composites was found to be 1/1.46. The expanded interlayer separation is beneficial for complicated guest molecules intercalating to the galleries of the composites.
Large-scale silver nanoparticles with fine dispersion and narrow size distribution were synthesized by reducing silver nitrate with sodium borohydride and sodium citrate and using poly (vinylpyrrolidone) as an adsorption agent in the ethanol solution. The sintering behavior and electrical properties of silver nanoparticles treated with and without glutaric acid were studied. Morphology studies showed that the treated silver nanoparticles obviously agglomerated and began to sinter at 200 °C and the sintering temperature is higher at least 50 degrees than that of the untreated silver nanoparticles The treated silver nanoparticles as fillers of electronically conductive adhesives (ECAs) is more advantageous to the increase of the conductivity. Otherwise, only in the conditions of the appropriate sintering temperature and loading of silver nanoparticles, the high conductivity of the ECAs was obtained. The effect of the treated silver nanoparticles on the electrical properties contributes to the surface activation and sintering behavior.Keywords: Silver nanoparticle, Sintering Behavior, Surface treatment, Electrical property
Nanocrystalline Ag doped silica inverse opals were prepared by a sol-gel chemistry method via templating of polystyrene colloidal crystals. The ordered structures of colloidal crystal templates and inverse opals are characterized by scanning electron microscopy. Ag nanocrystals size is estimated as 20~30nm by Scherrer Formula from X-ray diffraction. The color and the stop band of the inverse opals are characterized by transmission spectrum. And five emission peaks of the nanocrystalline silver clusters are observed from fluorescence spectrum.
The importance of safety climate on safety performance in construction has been highly acknowledged, and the definitions and elements of safety climate have been widely discussed over the years. However, researches about how to improve constructions safety climate have been less focused. The aim of this study was to find the impact of social capital on safety climate. A questionnaire of social capital and safety climate was conducted by 316 employees from 45 construction sites, and an empirical analysis was made by exploratory factor analysis (EFA) and structural model theory (SEM). The results showed that: the cognitive dimension and relational dimension of social capital are significantly positive correlation to safety climate, while the structural dimension is not significant. The findings of this study provide useful information to improve safety climate for construction enterprises.
