The Ministry of Social Affairs of Indonesia cooperates with the State Bank Association implemented the electronic program of Warung Gotong Royong KUBE PKH (e-Warong KUBE PKH) as a community business served as an agent managed and owned by beneficiaries of the Family Hope Program (Program Keluarga Harapan/PKH) using non-cash transactions, most of small stall (warung) are located in a narrow alley in urban areas, but this program has not yet given a significant income generating for their members. The research objective was to describe the ability of e-warong to develop business. The research method used a qualitative approach by collecting data through a Focus Group Discussion which was attended by informants from e-warong actors, social advisor and Social Service Board representatives in the cities of Bekasi, Bandung, Banjar and Tasikmalaya, West Java Province. The results showed that e-warong operated mostly when only the distribution of Non-Cash Food Assistance (Bantuan Pangan Non Tunai/BPNT), and business development in the form of e-commerce (electricity payments, health insurance, mobile phone pulses etc.) did not work because the e-warong actors not yet familiar with business development in the digital era priority for distributing, selling, purchasing, marketing products (goods and services) by utilizing telecommunications networks such as the internet, television or other computer networks. The conclusion refer to utilize the facilities and infrastructure owned by e-warong for business development not only to improve e-commerce activities but also to run a waste bank for economic and social empowerment.
Penelitian ini berjudul “Hubungan Aktualisasi Diri Dengan Pemanfaatan Social Network Melalui Media Sosial Pada Pegawai di Login Megastore Bandung”. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendiskripsikan bagaimana hubungan aktualisasi diri dengan pemanfaatan social network diperusahaan. Metode yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode yang bersifat deskriptif analisis dengan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket dan wawancara. Data-data yang diperoleh mula-mula dikumpulkan, kemudian dianalisis untuk disimpulkan sehingga dapat disusun dalam bentuk skripsi. Responden dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 30 pegawai dari jumlah 150 pegawai. Teknik pengumpulan sampel menggunakan skala ordinal sedangkan teknik pengukurannya menggunakan model Likert. Untuk pengujian hipotesis menggunakan statistik Uji Rank Spearman. Penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada hubungan yang tinggi antara aktualisasi diri dengan pemanfaatan social network melalui media sosial.
Based on the results of the situation analysis, there are several problems with Youth Karang Taruna, Cigadung Village, Cibeunying Kaler District, Bandung City, namely: Low knowledge and understanding of digital literacy and low Digital Literacy Ability to become Smart Vlogers in order to become a productive generation. The purpose of this community service activity is to increase knowledge, understanding and ability about the Importance of Digital Literacy through Creativity Development to become a Smart Vloger as well as strengthening community social institutions in preventing online violence and cyber crime in people's lives, creating independence and a productive generation. The methods used are socialization and counseling, training, mentoring, and technical guidance. As a result of PKM activities, it is hoped that the Youth Karang Taruna, Cigadung Village, Cibeunying Kaler District, Bandung City will know, understand digital literacy, and be able to use internet digital media literacy skills safely in updating writing on the platforms they created to become Smart Vlogers to strengthen institutions. society in preventing online violence and cyber crime in people's lives, creating independence and a productive generation.
Purpose: The aim of this research was to investigate strategy to improve KPM’s start-up business creativity in the context of social entrepreneurship program. Theoretical framework: The primary goal of social work is to improve a society's overall well-being, especially for the most vulnerable populations. It's not just corporate responsibility where social workers can help businesses and strengthen entrepreneurship (Zastrow, 2017). Design/methodology/approach: The method used a qualitative approach by interviewing 3 informants of KPM, and the data was analysed by using SWOT analysis to helping identify competitive opportunities for improvement. It was designed to assess strengths (S) and weaknesses (W) as internal capabilities, while opportunities (O) and threats (T) are posed by the external environment. Findings: KPM was in incubate profile of creativity and need to empower their business skill to be sustainable, and needed the intervention of social work in giving some business education and to strengthen social entrepreneurship of KPM by using case work method should be improved. Research, Practical & Social implications: This research is urgently needed to break KPM's dependence on public assistance and increase their sustainable income through business startups and strengthen their entrepreneurial spirit. Originality/value: This research related to social work intervention in business and industry to strengthen KPM start-up through social entrepreneurship. KPM showed that they still rely on public assistance to meet their daily needs.
KUBE is a small business group for poor people which was under supervised by Ministry of Social Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia to eradicate poverty. This study aims to investigate the factors that influenced their financial access and marketing ability. It also aims to examine the implications partially and simultaneously to the performance, and its effect to KUBE's member welfare. The previous study was not explore entrepreneurial culture as an important component in achieving higher performance of KUBE. This study used survey and the interrelationships among a number of variables was measured by path analysis to test hypotheses. Research finding showed that the direct effect of creativity and innovation as important instruments of entrepreneurship comparatively small than skill to contribute on financial access and marketing ability. Means, the entrepreneurial culture in managing KUBE have not been fully applied yet in eradicating poverty in Indonesia. The recommendations as followed: 1) Ministry of Social Affairs should formulate a social policy to strenghthen entrepreneurial culture of KUBE, 2) Universities might improve level of entrepreneurship of KUBE's member and their business advisor by conducting business training and counseling.
