Learning materials offer students and teachers valuable assistance in physics lessons. This article was aimed at developing and evaluating interactive multimedia learning materials that are equipped with games in Linear Motion and Newton's Laws for improving critical thinking skills. The evaluation consists of an expert review, based on grades from four experts, practicality testing by 30 students, and effectiveness testing concerning students' critical thinking skills after they have used interactive multimedia learning materials. Thus, the research result shows that interactive multimedia learning materials are valid, practical, and effective. Based on this result, it appears that interactive multimedia learning materials can enhance students' critical thinking skills.
We have developed an array antenna consisting of 12 elements of simple square-shaped, corner-truncated patches for circularly polarized synthetic aperture radar (CP-SAR) operated in the L-band. The corporate feed design concept is implemented by combining a split-T and a 3-way circular-sector-shape power divider to excite circularly polarized radiation. The fabricated antenna based on the simulation using moment method gives a good circular polarization at the center frequency of 1.27 GHz with an impedance bandwidth of 6.1% and 3-dB axial ratio bandwidth of 1.0%, satisfying the specification for our circularly polarized synthetic aperture radar intended for use onboard an unmanned aerial vehicle and a small satellite.
In the technological disruption era, education goals have evolved to emphasize students to possess 21 st -Century Skills. Learning model capable of accommodating these skills is a model that has a balance between a scientific approach and the use of technology. This research aims to develop a valid, practical, and effective Online-based Inquiry learning model to improve the 21 st -Century Skills of physics students in senior high school. This research was research and development (R&D). The stages of model development consisted of preliminary research, prototyping phases, and assessment phases. The model was validated by five experts. Sixty tenthgrade students participated in the field test. The results showed that the validity of the model is on very high category. The practicality of the model is on very practical category. The average level of the students' 21 st -Century Skills is 84.72, while the average N-Gain scores is 0.63. Based on these results, the model fulfills the valid, practical, and effective category for improving students' 21 st -Century Skills and is expected to be an alternative reference to enhance the quality of physics learning and other fields of science.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
