Kecepatan reaksi dan aksi tendangan merupakan parameter penting dalam cabang olah raga pencak silat. Sampai saat ini, belum ada peralatan berbasis teknologi yang dapat mengukur kecepatan reaksi dan aksi pesilat. Dalam artikel ini dipaparkan sebuah instrumen untuk mengukur kecepatan reaksi dan tendangan pesilat berbasis teknologi. Metode yang digunakan untuk mengembangkan instrumen pengukur kecepatan reaksi dan aksi pesilat mengadopsi model Borg and Gall. Dalam model ini dilakukan uji reliabilitas menggunakan teknik test and retest. Ada dua kelompok sampel yang digunakan, yaitu kelompok sampel kecil (14 orang) dan kelompok sampel besar (32 orang). Hasil uji reabilitas memiliki kriteria kuat dengan nilai 0,671 pada kelompok sampel kecil dan 0,746 untuk kelompok sampel besar. Sementara itu, untuk pengembangan norma instrumen dilibatkan 382 orang sampel dengan kategori atlet dewasa yang terdiri atas kelompok putera dan putri. Dalam penelitian ini, ada lima kategori yang dipakai yaitu baik sekali, baik, sedang, kurang, dan kurang sekali. Berdasarkan hasil analisis diperoleh simpulan, alat yang dikembangkan memiliki tingkat akurasi tinggi, dan layak dipergunakan sebagai instrumen pengukur kecepatan tendangan pencak silat.
AbstrakPermasalahan utama dalam penelitian ini adalah belum tersedianya instrument kecepatan tendangan pencak silat yang berbasis teknologi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menciptakan instrument kecepatan tendangan berbasis teknologi. Penelitian ini merupakan kelanjutan dari penelitian sebelumnya yang menghasilkan desain rancangan instrume n yang telah teruji secara empiris. Metode penelitian dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan dan mengadopsi model Borg and Gall. Hasil uji reliabilitas yang menggunakan teknik test and retest, yaitu 0.671 pada kelompok sampel kecil dan 0.746 pada kelompok sampel besar sehingga diperoleh hasil memiliki kriteria yang "kuat". Persentase kecepatan reaksi akurasinya adalah 99. 334 persen, untuk kecepatan aksi adalah sebesar 99.288 persen. Hasil analisis Ini menunjukkan bahwa alat yang dikembangkan memiliki tingkat akurasi tinggi, dan layak dipergunakan sebagai instrumen kecepatan tendangan pencak silat.
Pencak silat is a branch of martial arts that really requires good physical condition to be able to achieve maximum performance. One of the most needed physical conditions is speed endurance. However, at this time, there is no instrument to measure speed endurance specifically for the branch of pencak silat. In pencak silat matches, the dominant technique used by fighters to carry out attacks and get value is kicks. Therefore, in the implementation of this designed test, the kick technique is used. The target to be achieved in this study is the birth of a standard instrument to measure the speed endurance of pencak silat athletes. This research is a development research that aims to develop a special speed endurance instrument for athletes in pencak silat. The stages of this study began with an analysis of the needs of the physical condition in pencak silat. After that, the next stage is carried out, namely the making of speed endurance instrument designs for pencak silat athletes. Before conducting field trials, expert validation is first carried out by involving experts in the field of pencak silat, namely pencak silat trainers, sports test and measurement experts, and sports physiology experts. Field trials were carried out by direct testing of the research sample involving 100 male and 60 female pencak silat athletes. This trial is to determine the validity and reliability of field data and to determine test norms. The data analysis technique was done by using the percentage technique. The results showed that: the instrument of speed endurance developed is suitable for use as a measure of the speed endurance of pencak silat athletes with a validity of 0.95 and a reliability of 0.97.
This study aims to look at the effect of martial arts exercises on changes in adolescent personality. The sample of this study was Yadika Lubuklinggau High School students who participated in pencak silat extracurricular activities, totaling 22 people. The sampling technique is a total sampling technique. The hypothesis proposed in this study is that martial arts exercises provide a significant influence on changes in adolescent personality. The design of this study is one group pretest-posttest. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire with Likert Scale. The data in this study are the answers of the sample parents regarding their daily personalities both before and after pencak silat training. Hypothesis testing with a t-test at a significant level of 0.05%. Based on testing the research hypothesis using the t-test statistical analysis it is known that the t-value is 3,227, while the t-table value is 1,720. Thus, it can be concluded that the hypothesis proposed in this study was accepted. The conclusion that can be drawn in this study is that martial arts exercises provide effects on changes in adolescent personality.
