Reconstruction of spectral information based on multi-channel image system is a significant problem in color reproduction, detection, and recognition. A spectral radiance reconstruction from trichromatic digital camera responses is researched in this article. The mapping relationship between
To eliminate the time shift of code edges on a single-sideband (SSB) modulation signal transmission in a radio-over-fiber (RoF) system, a new, to the best of our knowledge, SSB modulation scheme based on an optimal transmission point for a double-parallel Mach–Zehnder modulator (DP-MZM) is proposed. The scheme is based on DP-MZM to realize the separation of the carrier and the +1st-order sideband at the optimal transmission point, and the baseband signal modulates the 2.5 Gb/s data signal to the +1st-order sideband of the SSB signal; then, the carrier and the +1st-order sideband are transmitted with a carrier-to-sideband ratio of 0 dB. Theoretical analysis shows that compared to the traditional SSB-modulated optical millimeter-wave signal generation scheme this scheme completely solves the problem of the time shift of code edges caused by dispersion. The simulation results show that the improved SSB modulation scheme has a Q factor of 23.362, the minimum bit error rate is 4.207×10−127 at 73.453 km, and the eye diagram is still very clear. Under the premise of meeting the basic requirements of communications, the maximum communications distance can reach 135 km, which is 270% of the transmission distance of a traditional SSB modulation model. Thus, the system performance has been greatly improved.
In this paper, a theoretical analysis reveals that system radiation transmission nonuniformity and system radiation conversion nonuniformity have different forms. A colour imaging system response nonuniformity model is then proposed according to the two kind of nonuniformity of three channels. The model includes two models, one for brightness and one for chromaticity. The brightness model is built according to the nonuniformity of single channel. The chromaticity model is built as an error ellipse in the chromaticity diagram. The error ellipse can be also used as a representation parameter of the radiation conversion nonuniformity. The proposed models were verified using three commercial digital cameras. The experimental results show that the proposed nonuniformity model is correct. Moreover, the proposed representation parameter is an effective way to evaluate and characterize the nonuniformity of a colour imaging system. This research has value as a reference for the correction and evaluation of response nonuniformity in colour imaging systems.
Using server log data to predict the URLs that a user is likely to visit is an important research area in user behavior prediction. In this paper, a predictive model (called LAR) based on the long short-term memory (LSTM) attention network and reciprocal-nearest-neighbors supported clustering algorithm (RSC) for predicting the URL is proposed. First, the LSTM-attention network is used to predict the URL categories a user might visit, and the RSC algorithm is then used to cluster users. Subsequently, the URLs belonging to the same category are determined from the user clusters to predict the URLs that the user might visit. The proposed LAR model considers the time sequence of the user access URL, and the relationship between a single user and group users, which effectively improves the prediction accuracy. The experimental results demonstrate that the LAR model is feasible and effective for user behavior prediction. The accuracy of the mean absolute error and root mean square error of the LAR model are better than those of the other models compared in this study.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
