The ritual is one way of communicating. All forms of ritual is communicative. The ritual is always a symbolic behavior in social situations. Because of this ritual is always a way to communicate something. Communication rituals can be understood as meaning the message of a group of people against religious activity and belief system that was followed. The ritual is performed Atoni Pah Meto not independent of trust they hold, in the process always happen meaning of certain symbols that signify the process of ritual communication. This symbol has a meaning known only to those who perform the ritual.
Belis merupakan suatu upacara dimana pihak laki-laki memberi mas kawin barang berupa hewan, uang dan kain kepada pihak peempun. Tujuan peneltiian ini untuk mengetahui pengalaman, motif, dan makna belis pada masyarakat Desa Gunung. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah fenomenologi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengalaman masyarakat tentang nominal belis yakni apabila pihak laki-laki tidak mampu melunasi semua belis pada saat upacara masuk minta maka pihak keluarga perempuan membuat suatu kesepakatan dimana mempelai laki-laki tinggal di keluarga perempuan sampai keluarga laki-laki melunasi belis atau pihak laki-laki boleh membawa mempelai perempuan dengan kesepakatan wajib membayar belis sesuai dengan waktu yang telah ditentukan. Dampak positif dengan adanya pemberian belis, martabat keluarga laki-laki terangkat, pihak keluarga wanita merasa dihargai, dan terbentuknya kekerabatan baru. Dampak negatifnya, pihak laki-laki merasa malu jika tidak melunasi belis karena menimbulkan utang piutang. Budaya belis masih tetap dipertahankan dan tidak mengalami perubahan karena belis dianggap sebagai tradisi, dan bentuk penghargaan terhadap perempuan sebagai benih penerus keturunan. Motif masyarakat mempertahankan belis yakni sebagai tali pengikat yang menandakan hubungan kedua pasangan dan keluraga besarnya dan penanda si perempuan telah keluar dari keluarga asalnya dan berpindah ke klan suami. Belis juga sebagai alat menyatukan kedua keluarga.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan bias ruang simbolik estetis pada busana Caci Puteri Indonesia Nusa Tenggara Timur tahun 2022. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan paradigma kritis yang melihat realitas secara kritis sebagai objek penelitian. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan Analisis semiotika Roland Barthes untuk menemukan ruang bias dan makna simbolik estetis dalam desain busana Caci Puteri Indonesia Nusa Tenggara Timur 2022. Subjek penelitian ini adalah desain busana Puteri Indonesia dalam desain busana Caci, dan objek penelitian adalah Makna simbolik dalam desain busana Puteri Indonesia Caci, Nusa Tenggara Timur tahun 2022. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bias ruang simbolik estetis menurut hasil Analisis semiotika Barthes terhadap busana caci Puteri Indonesia Nusa Tenggara Timur Tahun 2022 menghasilkan apa yang disebut dekonstruksi mitos. Dekonstruksi mitos yang dimaksud adalah bahwa busna Caci Puteri Indonesia Nusa Tenggara Timur 2022 secara simbolis telah mendekonstruksi makna dari caci yang sebenarnya, sebagaimana telah dimaknai oleh masyarakat Manggarai Nusa Tenggara Timur.
In the social sciences, coordinated meaning management (CMM) provides an understanding of how individuals create, coordinate, and manage meaning in their communication processes. In general, it refers to "how individuals establish rules for creating and interpreting meaning and how those rules are related in conversation where meanings are constantly coordinated". (West and Lynn, 2007)." Human communication is seen as a flexible, open and changeable process that develops in continuous mutual interaction, which allows movements, shifts, and ways of evolving with one another". According to Miller and Sarah (2019). CMM embodies this vision and enables interpersonal connections and open conversations between individuals or groups, and can be applied across a wide range of academic fields and social scenarios.
The results of need assessment and situation analysis found that the teachers of the Tunas Bangsa Christian Community School Kupang had limited knowledge and skills in using Weblogs as an alternative media for online-based learning. Therefore, the purpose of community service activities was to increase the knowledge and skills of the teachers on how to create and use weblogs for online learning. The PKM method used training and also mentoring. The results of this activity indicated an increased understanding of the teachers of the school regarding the importance of using the WordPress media platform as an alternative learning media to support online learning. This was indicated by an increase in teacher knowledge based on the results of the comparison of participants' reflection scores before and after the training. In addition, teachers also experienced an increase in knowledge and skills in creating or designing WordPress as a teacher's personal website in order to publish various articles, assignments, materials, and others related to learning at school
