because of the development of information technologies and extension of traditional commerce practices the importance of electronic commerce has been rapidly growing. A successful e-commerce system should provide convenient user interface, easy and efficient search engine, and complete product information that would satisfy users' requests. In this research we have proposed a hybrid reasoning method that should improve the search results of an e-commerce system. This method employs best practices of rule-based and case-based reasoning. The experiment conducted has demonstrated that hybrid reasoning method improves the performance of the system's search mechanism.
In the recent decades the importance of the information systems (IS) has been steadily growing. Nowadays most of the operations that imply complex manipulations with data and storage of large volumes of data are being automated through the use of various IS. At the heart of all the Medical Information Systems lie Electronical Medical Records (EMR) systems, they store and process data about patients. Developing an efficient EMR system would considerably improve the performance of the physicians' work and free more time for actual patient treatment rather than paperwork. Design Patterns have gained a widespread recognition in object-oriented community. They provided proven solutions to many of the design problems faced by software engineers. This paper is focused on developing a solid analytical base and initial simulator for an efficient Electronic Medical Records Systems using Design Patterns. We have tried to use the Design Patterns and various UML design techniques to propose an easilyextensible and reusable design for the system. This research should serve as a firm step towards the development of complete efficient EMR system.
In the recent decades the importance of the information systems (IS) has been steadily growing. Nowadays most of the operations that imply complex manipulations with data and storage of large volumes of data are being automated through the use of various IS. One of the areas where the use of an integrated IS can be considered as a must is medicine. There are many different types of systems that may be used in modern hospitals; these include accounting IS, nutrition IS etc. But at the heart of all the Medical Information Systems lies Electronical Medical Records (EMR)-systems that store and process data about patients. However, there is no complete EMR that has been developed specifically for the needs of Uzbekistan's healthcare industry. This research is focused on creating a solid theoretical base and initial implementation for an Electronic Medical Records System-SHAMAN, intended for target department in a large Tashkent hospital. This might become a first step in the development of complete EMR systems for Uzbekistan's healthcare industry.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
