Summary: The research exposes the results of a case study, taking as a unit of analysis a student of the Higher Technology in Sports Training with Down Syndrome career, who arrives with extensive skills in swimming and body expression. The investigative dynamics started from a diagnostic phase where a psychopedagogical analysis of the intellectual potentialities and limitations was carried out, used as a reference to develop a psychopedagogical strategy that would allow the development of professional skills, the proposal was built inductively through workshops with the participation of teachers involved; Actions were defined for curricular adaptations and levels of aid adjusted to the student's needs. Three cuts were applied in the evaluation of the variable under study, placing each one at the end of the ordinary academic periods (PAO), each period with 16 weeks. The results of the three moments were contrasted using the Friedman non-parametric test, it is found that between the first and second PAO there are no significant differences, however, between the first and third PAO the significance of the changes showed that p = .001, as it is less than the preset value (p <.05), it is accepted (Hi) and the feasibility of the intervention in practice is demonstrated. The actions derived from the Strategy generated professional competencies that will allow the student to perform as an assisted Monitor, but not as a Superior Technologist, a decision recommended by the faculty for professional practice, considering that Sports Training constitutes a highly complex pedagogical process.
Abstract. The present research focused on demonstrating the positive impact of the use of ICTs as an alternative element responding to the problem of non-attendance during the development of the physical component. The study design is experimental, employing a population of 70 officers of the XVII Ascent of the School of Specialization and Improvement of the National Police of Ecuador. The analysis focused on five indicators: Rapidity, Resistance to Strength, Anaerobic Performance, Aerobic Performance (Cooper Test), and Maximum Oxygen Consumption (VO2 max). A general screening is performed as the first step, followed by the elaboration of a program to improve Physical Condition, which is then shared through a process of pedagogic intervention in which six physical trainers participate; following the methodological logic of the instrumental system of the project, the process of messaging, interaction, control, and monitoring of physical preparation with an individualized approach is done using ICTs: Facebook, Twitter, WhatsApp, Email. Data analysis was performed by strata, as results from each test were subjected to a goodness-of-fit test: Kolmogorov-Smirnov (KS). Based on it, a parametric test (Student's T) was run through the statistical package SPSS 23.0. Results of each test showed significant changes after the intervention, being p=.000. Consequently, Hi was accepted and H0 was rejected, demonstrating that the use of the ICTs may promote the compliance with the physical fitness program proposed by the trainers.
The research was carried out with the reserve team of Barcelona Sporting Club from the Ecuadorian soccer first division. The objective was to validate a methodological alternative for endurance training focused on competitions at altitude. The pre-experimental design of the study was directed to evaluating four dimensions. The first one concerned developing knowledge about endurance training for competitions at altitude; in this aspect, we worked with the technical staff of the team. In the same way, a sample of 12 players was selected using intentional sampling, three dimensions being evaluated: effectiveness of offensive and defensive actions; meters covered (Cooper test); and maximum volume of oxygen (VO2). Data analysis was based on goodness of fit test (Kolmogorov-Smirnov test [KS]). Data normality allowed to apply parametric tests (Student's T). Results were significant in each of the analyzed dimensions, being p = .000. SPSS 23.0 package was used for statistical analysis. Results of the implementation of the method demonstrated an increased effectiveness in using technical skills to create and solve situations in the last 15 minutes of the matches, at the same time as we could observe a better state of the external manifestations of physical load as well as improved capacity of aerobic endurance derived from the increase in VO2.
