En este trabajo se ubica a las microempresas marginadas en el marco de los indicadores de pobreza y vulnerabilidad en México y se determina su Valor Actual Neto Social como aproximación a la forma adecuada de medir su rentabilidad. Los resultados permiten aceptar la hipótesis de rentabilidad social positiva para estos proyectos; además, la evidencia muestra que su estado de vulnerabilidad es menor una vez que son apoyadas. Se concluye que es pertinente la decisión del Gobierno de apoyarlas con financiamiento y capacitación, entre otras razones porque ello ayuda a paliar la condición de pobreza de aquellos que las generan, aunque no siempre consiguen alcanzar el nivel de ingreso que se esperaría de un mercado de trabajo competitivo.
Increasing digitalization has led to a shift from learning and knowledge transfer based on reading texts, books or journals, to the use of virtual platforms. These changes represent future challenges for the acquisition appropriation and dissemination of knowledge. According to the Availability and Use of Information Technologies in Households National Survey (ENDUTIH, 2021), in Mexico there are just over 88 million Internet users and more than 91 million cell phone users. The objective of this work is to measure the reach that the publication of infographics with scientific content through social networks has had using an analysis of variance (ANOVA). The results indicate that the classification by control groups: people reached, and interactions; show differences in means between groups and years of publication, demonstrating positive results for the dissemination and acquisition of scientific knowledge through infographics.
Social enterprises are born to social problems solutions without neglecting their financial, economic, and environmental viability. Consequently, in recent years, these ventures have gained strength as a viable and innovative alternative to achieve sustainable development, capable of combining economic growth, social inclusion, and sustainability for present and future generations. For this reason, this paper aims to identify the effect that community interventions in the teaching of social entrepreneurship aligned with development have had on the intention of providing a sustainable solution to current social problems. Therefore, a qualitative analysis of the self-assessment texts of a sample of 138 young people who participated in the 2022 training program. The results show a program made up of positive expressions related to learning the fundamentals of social entrepreneurship. It also confirms the positive effect of interventions on youth engagement with the community.
Con la evolución de la economía es realmente necesario ver nuevos métodos de financiamiento, especialmente en los negocios sociales después del COVID- 19 ya que la pandemia global que atacó a las personas en salud, trabajos y dinero. El Banco Ético es la nueva propuesta para los negocios sociales, buscando el equilibrio entre el comercio y la responsabilidad social. El objetivo de este trabajo es mostrar qué tan necesario es el Banco Ético en México, para ayudar al gremio microempresarial, promoviendo la inversión social, contrario a la banca tradicional, que solo busca ganancias y si el negocio no las demuestra el banco rechaza el financiamiento. La razón más común en México para negar el financiamiento es la falta de historial crediticio, esto es irracional debido a que el propio banco no aprueba el crédito que permitirá tener el historial.
Las microempresas sociales juegan un papel importante en la economía, ya que son reconocidas como el motor clave del crecimiento económico en los países en desarrollo, sin embargo, la falta de financiamiento sigue siendo uno de sus principales obstáculos. El objetivo de este trabajo es analizar el efecto de la educación financiera impartida a los microempresarios sobre la rentabilidad económica, así como otras características específicas de los microempresarios y sus negocios. Se utilizan datos de bitácoras financieras aplicadas a microempresas sociales en la ciudad de Tijuana, Baja California, México; en el cual se registran diariamente durante cuatro semanas las ventas, costos y gastos de operación del negocio. Mediante un análisis de regresión lineal y el método de Prueba de Rangos con Signos de Wilcoxon, se encuentra que la formación en educación financiera tiene un efecto positivo en las utilidades netas del negocio; además del aumento positivo en sus ventas al hacer la transición al uso de tecnología para publicitar o vender sus productos; el uso del crédito acaba por visibilizar que en muchos casos perjudica al negocio porque no se puede utilizar adecuadamente.
