The occurency of cardiac arrest (CPA) is a stressing and critical event. Despite technological advances on attending and on the training of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) techniques, mortality remains high and patients survive up to discharge with high levels of neurological complications. The European Resuscitation Council (ERC) guidelines and the American Heart Association (AHA) as of 2015 hold the best recommendation in attending CPR
