Absract By using pulsed laser ablation technique superconducting YBa2Cu3O74 thin films with Tc=89.5 K were deposited on LaMgAl, ,019 (1100) substrate. X-ray diffraction patterns show that the YBa2Cu307-8 films were epitaxially grown with c-axis perpendicular to the substrate surface. LaMgAl,lO,g has low dielectric constant and small loss tangent. Using (1100) LaMgAl, ,019 substrates, superconducting microstrip resonators of YBa2Cu307-6 were fabricated. As a new substrate material LaMgAl11019 are suitable for using in the high frequency application.
