Implanted rechargeable batteries that can provide energy over a sufficient lifetime and ultimately degrade into non-toxic byproducts are highly desirable. However, their advancement is significantly impeded by the limited toolbox...
Assessment is the core and fundament of rehabilitation, which can guide the whole treatment process. In the rehabilitation, doctors or therapists need to assess the function of patients in upper/lower-limb, based on subjective assessment and objective assessment. While it may cause large error and high cost by traditional ways. Therefore, artificial intelligence technology is applied to the field of medical rehabilitation. This review will summarize the application of objective assessment methods which are base on artificial intelligence including not limited, trajectory error feature, joint angels and joint angular velocity, sEMG signal feature. Finally, the review concludes that existing objective methods are generally affected by the scale of data and the number of feature. This review will give instruction for a lager application in rehabilitation field.
The emergence of precision medicine and personalized pharmacotherapy has led to the development of advanced drug delivery systems that can respond to multiple stimuli. Conductive hydrogels have excellent electrical signal responsiveness and drug storage capabilities; however, current conductive hydrogels suffer from poor mechanical properties, low ionic conductivity, and high voltage. Herein, a covalently crosslinked viologen hydrogel was prepared using electroactive hyperbranched polyamidoamine (EHP) as the crosslinking center in a polymeric network. Attributed to its unique molecular architecture, this hydrogel exhibits improved mechanical properties (high tensile strength and desirable stretchability up to 1280%). Approvable ionic conductivity, biocompatibility, antibacterial properties, and wearable strain-sensing performance were also disclosed, ascribed to the participation of versatile viologen groups in the hydrogel structure. This hydrogel exhibited high efficiency in drug release (81.6%) at a lower voltage of −1.2 V. Moreover, fascinating pH-stimulus drug release behavior was also demonstrated in both acidic and alkalescent environments owing to the dramatic conformational transition of EHP. This work provides a new design strategy for conductive hydrogels for multiple stimulusresponsive drug delivery systems.
The objective is to explore the application effect of comprehensive nursing intervention in prevention of lower extremity deep vein thrombosis and pulmonary embolism in urological patients undergoing laparoscopic and robot-assisted laparoscopic surgery. From April 2019 to April 2020, 200 patients who received urological laparoscopic surgery and robot-assisted laparoscopic surgery were selected. According to the random number table method, they were divided into control group and observation group, 100 cases in control group and 100 cases in observation group. Patients in control group received routine nursing, while patients in observation group received comprehensive nursing intervention. The skin condition, swelling, pain, and occurrence of deep venous thrombosis and pulmonary embolism of lower extremities in 2 groups were observed. The experimental results showed that the lower limb swelling, lower limb pain, and lower limb deep vein thrombosis in the control group were significantly higher than those in the observation group, but all patients were cured and discharged after taking effective symptomatic treatment and nursing measures in time. In the control group, pulmonary embolism occurred in 3 patients, all of whom died. There was no significant difference in skin changes of lower limbs (

), and there were significant differences in other skin changes (

). It proved that comprehensive nursing intervention can effectively prevent the formation of lower extremity deep vein thrombosis and pulmonary embolism in urological patients undergoing laparoscopic and robot-assisted laparoscopic surgery with high-risk factors.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
