Mục tiêu: Đánh giá kết quả điều trị duy trì hóa chất Docetaxel sau hóa chất phác đồ Paclitaxel- Carboplatin trong ung thư phổi không tế bào nhỏ giai đoạn IV. Đối tượng và phương pháp nghiên cứu: Nghiên cứu mô tả. Bệnh nhân được chẩn đoán ung thư phổi không tế bào nhỏ giai đoạn IV từ 6/2016 đến 6/2022 tại bệnh viện K sau điều trị bước 1 với bộ đôi hóa chất Paclitaxel- Carboplatin đạt được bệnh đáp ứng hoặc ổn định được ghi nhận các triệu chứng lâm sàng, cận lâm sàng, phương pháp điều trị, đánh giá thời gian sống thêm bệnh không tiến triển và các yếu tố liên quan. Kết quả: Nghiên cứu thực hiện trên 55 bệnh nhân. Tuổi trung vị của BN là 62 tuổi, trong đó giới nam chiếm 82,1%; triệu chứng cơ năng thường gặp là ho khan (37,5%), đau tức ngực (32,1%), khó thở (16,1%). Có 32 BN (58,2%) bệnh đáp ứng 1 phần, 41,8% BN bệnh ổn định, không có BN đáp ứng bệnh hoàn toàn. Thời gian sống thêm bệnh không tiến triển trung vị là 4,2 tháng, thời gian sống thêm toàn bộ trung vị 15 tháng. Tác dụng không mong muốn: giảm bạch cầu là 38,1%, trong đó giảm bạch cầu độ 3, 4 là 10,9%; giảm huyết sắc tố chiếm 92,9% chủ yếu độ 1 và độ 2. Tỉ lệ viêm niêm mạc chiếm 48,8% qua các đợt điều trị, chủ yếu thoáng qua, tự hồi phục. Tiêu chảy chiếm 30,9%, chủ yếu độ 1, tự hồi phục. Kết luận: Điều trị duy trì Docetaxel sau hóa chất bộ đôi Paclitaxel-Carboplatin cho hiệu quả cao, khả năng dung nạp thuốc tốt ở bệnh nhân ung thư phổi không tế bào nhỏ giai đoạn IV.
