For reflecting those behaviors in the simulation that pedestrians choose to wait, scrape or round after being trapped in local minimum, based on the static spatial potential field with big grid, dynamic potential field is obtained after adding in time-consumption potential field and waiting potential field. Time-consumption potential field replaces traditional pedestrian repulsive field and changes with grid space occupancy while waiting potential field has the attribution of attenuation and enhancement together. Simulation experiments are used to verify various selections that pedestrian make when they face different space occupancy. The result shows that this model is not only able to guarantee efficiency and accuracy, but also closer to real walking characteristics.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
