Abstract-Data security becomes more and more important in telemammography which uses a public high-speed wide area network connecting the examination site with the mammography expert center. Generally, security is characterized in terms of privacy, authenticity and integrity of digital data. Privacy is a network access issue and is not considered in this paper. Carbon is one of the most fascinating elements due to its structurally diverse allotropic forms stemming from its bonding varieties (sp, sp2, and sp3). Exploring new forms of carbon has always been the eternal theme of scientific research. Herein, we report the amorphous (AM) carbon materials with high fraction of sp3 bonding recovered from compression of fullerene C60 under high pressure and high temperature previously unexplored. Analysis of photoluminescence and absorption spectra demonstrates that they are semiconducting with a bandgap range of 1.5–2.2 eV, comparable to that of widely used amorphous silicon. Comprehensive mechanical tests demonstrate that the synthesized AM-III carbon is the hardest and strongest amorphous material known so far, which can scratch diamond crystal and approach its strength. The produced AM carbon materials combine outstanding mechanical and electronic properties, and may potentially be used in photovoltaic applications that require ultrahigh strength and wear resistance.
We present a structure model for constructing Mg͑BH 4 ͒ 2 . The first-principles calculations reveal that some stable ground-state crystal structures of Mg͑BH 4 ͒ 2 have the same or slightly lower energy than the I-4m2 structure predicted in a paper by Ozolins et al. ͓Phys. Rev. Lett. 100, 135501 ͑2008͔͒. The possible mechanism for the anomalous stability originates from the fact that the charge transfer between different atoms is more homogeneous. The structure model can be anticipated to have potential application for predicting new stable structures of this group of homologous materials.
In this paper, the answer selection problem in community question answering (CQA) is regarded as an answer sequence labeling task, and a novel approach is proposed based on the recurrent architecture for this problem. Our approach applies convolution neural networks (CNNs) to learning the joint representation of questionanswer pair firstly, and then uses the joint representation as input of the long shortterm memory (LSTM) to learn the answer sequence of a question for labeling the matching quality of each answer. Experiments conducted on the SemEval 2015 C-QA dataset shows the effectiveness of our approach.
