The title compound, tetrakis(ethylenediammonium) gallium trivanadium octakis(hydrogen sulfate) tetrahydroxide tetrahydrate, (C2H10N2)4[GaV3(SO4)8(OH)4]·4H2O, was obtained hydrothermally from an aqueous solution of VOSO4, Ga2O3, ethylenediamine, glycol and sulfuric acid. The structure features a one‐dimensional chain built from MO6 octahedra (site symmetry , M = V or Ga) and bridging OH and SO4 groups.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
