The approach of enhanced interaction of HCPs and patients via app- and web-based communication was a clear success and delivered favorable responder rates. Treating obesity from a medical viewpoint will help to deepen the motivation for changing lifestyles. The study represents a cornerstone for a wider scoped application of these novel digital health approaches.
Übersicht:Es wird ein Verfahren vorgestellt, welches für den Bereich der Hohlleitertechnik ein Simulationswerkzeug mit hoher Genauigkeit und gleichzeitig großer Flexibilität der behandelbaren Strukturen darstellt. Damit kann auch für Hohlleiterschaltungen, ähnlich wie bei planaren Schaltungen, experimenteller Aufwand durch Simulation ersetzt werden. Die Genauigkeit ist höher als bei herkömmlichen Simulationsprogrammen. Dadurch lassen sich auch bei komplexen Strukturen Schaltungseigenschaften realisieren, die früher nur durch eine Vielzahl von Abgleichelementen eingehalten werden konnten.Abstract: A new rigorous analysis procedure is presented for the wide field of hollow waveguides, combining field theoretical methods with nodal analysis. By this the traditional cut and try method is replaced by a very flexible analysis tool, as it is well known for planar circuits and concentrated elements. High accuracy and low computation time are achieved by the mode matching method. In contrast to discretizing Programms more complex structures can be simulated, so that no tuning elements are needed. The theorie is veryfied by comparison with measurements.
This paper presents the application of rigorous field theory modelling for accurate design of narrow-band waveguide channel filters. A description is given of the problems associated with narrow-band modelling, their solution, and results obtained from test filter hardware. The precision of this approach will lead to a significant reduction of development and tuning costs, especially with highperformance multiplexers for satellite communications.
