1.In der Arbeit [S] betrachtet G. SESTINI die Vektor-Differentialgleichung (1) xbehauptet er fur jede in einem Interval1 (to, m ) definierte Losung die Beschranktheit der Vektoren ~( t ) , x' (t). Von R. REISSIG [4] mirde bereits darauf hingewiesen, dalj einmal die Bedingung (I) in der angegebenen Form unzureichend ist und etwa durch lim gi(x) = -m x i + --w ergiinzt oder in der Form ( 2 )xi gi(x) 2 w2 i; geschrieben werden mu6 und dalj zum andereii der (nicht vollstandig durchgefiihrte) zweite Teil des Beweises von SESTINI neben (I) auch eine Abschatzung g,(t) d x , verwendet, daB also die Behauptung nur im Sonderfall einer linearen elastischen Kraft, g ( 2 ) = d x , als bewiesen angesehen werden kann.

Zum Nachweis dieser Eigenschaft wird das System durch eine erstmals von FILIPPOV [6] und spater bei der Untersuchung autonomer Systeme mehrfach ([3], [Z], [41, vgl. LIZ]) beiiutzte Transformation in eine Gestalt ubergefuhrt, die einen Vergleich mit stiickweise linearen Systemen ermoglicht.
Von J. 0. C. EZEILO [ 2 ] , [3], [4] wurde das asymptotische Verlzalten der Losungen der Differentialgleichungen(1) und ( 2 ) X"'untersucht. Hier werden durch Konstruktion geeigneter LJAPuNovscher Funktionen hinreichende Bedingungen fur globale asymptotische Stabilitat der Nullosung von (1) und zukunftige Beschranktheit der Losungen von ( 2 ) abgeleitet, anschliel3end werden ahnliche Resultate fur zwei allgemeinere Gleichungstypen gewonnen.
