Cibodas village is one of the villages in the regency of West Bandung, which shows potential for agrotourism and a creative economy. However, the dynamic environmental changes in the post-COVID-19 era have presented challenges to developing these economic potentials. Therefore, creating a model to develop agrotourism and a creative economy in Cibodas village is necessary. This study aims to create a system dynamics model with a causal loop diagram (CLD) based on the village innovation system framework to develop the agrotourism-creative economy in Cibodas village. Both qualitative and quantitative approaches are used to identify the main variables and to develop and review the CLD. The quantitative approach provides researchers with three main variables that must be involved in the study, namely, the general innovation infrastructure, specific industrial clusters, and intermediation. The three variables are interrelated and form a CLD. The formed CLD was further explored with a qualitative approach in the form of an in-depth interview and focus group discussions (FGDs) with several key informants: the Head of the Agronative Cooperative, the Head of Cibodas Village, and the Regency Tourism and Culture Office (Disparbud) of West Bandung. Based on the results of the scenario for the existing conditions for a 24-month period, it was found that the innovation infrastructure variables had increased by 10.94% and the intermediation variables had increased by 0.22%. The simulations were carried out by increasing the intermediation intervention twice as much as that of the existing conditions. Hence, the innovation infrastructure variables increased by 18.01% and the intermediation variables increased by 0.05%. Cibodas village would take advantage of these R & D products to help its creative economy actors produce more products having a high-selling value. Moreover, by employing this strategy, they could also help their creative economy actors increase the absorption of an innovation to have such a high competitiveness.
This research was conducted to test the model of strategic human resource management as a competitive advantage in the construction industry specially to identify factors related to achieving competitive advantage in this industry. The empirical data were drawn from 174 construction companies in Indonesia using questionnaire method. Structural Equation Modeling techniques was used to analyze the conceptualized relationship model. The empirical results reveal that competitive advantage in the construction industry in Indonesia could be achieved through human resource management practices to build and improve a safety culture which would increase employee productivity. Companies must integrate human resource management practices with safety culture as a priority strategy of the company since based on empirical result, safety culture can be a source of competitive advantage for construction companies in Indonesia. Future studies can use these strategic human resource management models in different industry sectors by adding a number of samples so that the results could be generalized.
The green economy with Islamic perspective is the primary discussion point in this study since it is seen as a potential solution to the current economic and environmental concerns. This study aims to analyze the Sustainability Performance of a nickel mine in North Maluku using Islamic economic perspective. A total of 80 mining workers in North Maluku were respondents in the study who were selected using the convenience sampling method. The results of data processing using structural equation modeling show that five of the six proposed hypotheses are empirically proven, the findings in this study indicate that the Sustainability Performance of nickel mining companies in North Maluku can be achieved through the practice of Green Human Resource Management which forms Health, Safety, Environmental Culture, and Green Supply Chain Management practices. The managerial implication of the findings in this study is that mining companies in North Maluku pay attention to recruitment supervision, training, and impose a system of rewards and punishments for workers related to safe work behavior and environmental preservation. In addition, the company also reports holding regular meetings with workers to socialize company policies related to work safety and environmental preservation. Finally, a license to carry out ISO certification to support the implementation of a supply chain that is environmentally sound and to have and carry out environmental program audits and support environmental-related regulations.
