Ergonomi ialah suatu ilmu yang sistematis, yang menggunakan data-data mengenai sifat, keterbatasan dan kemampuan manusia dalam merancang suatu sistem kerja, agar manusia dapat bekerja dalam sistem tersebut secara optimal, dalam arti baik, aman, nyaman, tepat, sederhana dan memberikan kepuasan. Dalam melaksanakan sebuah kegiatan tersebut, tentunya kita ingin agar semuanya dilakukan dengan baik, cepat, aman, sehat, ringan, mudah, hasil yang maksimal dan memberikan kepuasan. Metode untuk mengetahui peningkatan pemahaman dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode kuesioner yang dibagikan secara online sebelum dan sesudah pemberian materi. Hasil kuesioner tersebut disimpulkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan 7-38% pemahaman ergonomi dan aplikasinya terhadap pertanyaan yang diberikan. Pengenalan keilmuan ergonomi kepada anak didik, diharapkan sejak usia dini mereka dapat mulai menerapkan ilmu ergonomi dalam segala kegiatan dalam kehidupannya sehari-hari, sehingga kualitas kehidupannya dapat lebih ditingkatkan.
Currently, the process of washing clothes is a commonly process that carried out in a household. To save human energy and washing time, a washing machine is used. There are a lot of washing machine models on the market, but in general the existing washing machine have standard functions, use electrical energy, quite expensive, and use materials that are less environmentally friendly. Based on these various shortcomings, it is necessary to design an innovative washing machine. The method used in this research is the concept of product design starting from seeing the needs to develop the desired product concept until making a product prototype. The washing machine designed in this study can be used to wash all types of clothes weighing 3 kilograms and is equipped with clothes drying device with a capacity of 20 clothes that rotates during the washing process, so it will speed up the drying process. In addition, the materials used come from secondhand goods, so the price is economic. This washing machine is not designed use electrical energy but kinetic energy, so it is environmentally friendly and can be also used as an exercise tool that can the user's body keep healthy and ergonomic when used.
The most dominant factor causing traffic accidents is the human factor, such as sleepy driver. Other distraction factors that can cause traffic accidents is the use of cell phones. This experiment was conducted to prove this by using a driving simulator. The experimental design will be divided into 3 stages, starting from stage 1 (easy), stage 2 (moderate), and stage 3 (difficult). This study was measured using subjective measurements using the Karolinska Sleepiness Scale (KSS) method, and objective measurement by measuring heart rate (bpm), and recording driving error data. The data collected will be processed using the Two Way Anova method to find the influencing factors. The results of the test based on subjective data there are differences in stage 3 where respondents are more awake. Meanwhile, based on objective data on heart rate measurements, there are differences between the pretest stage with stages 2 and 3. If based on driving errors, stage 1 is different from stages 2 and 3. Based on the results of data processing, it is obtained that road conditions that have a high density can increase driver alertness, then the use of mobile phones has a major influence on the occurrence of driving errors.
PT. X is a company engaged in the textile industry in Bandung. In one of the departments it owns, namely the weaving department, there are a number of machines to roll the yarn into sheets of cloth. Among these machines, there are 2 engines, namely Pirn Winder (PW) and Two For One (TFO) machines, which have almost the same function, which is rolling thread. In both machines, problems were found, namely operators working with a high workload, especially from repetition factors and poor work postures, so operators often complained of pain in their body parts. This is evident from the results of the preliminary research using the QEC method that the operator on the machine has an exposure level of more than 60% so that changes in the existing working conditions are needed. Using the method of Assessment Repetitive Task (ART) and REBA (Rapid Entire Body Assessment carried out measurement of repetitive working conditions that occur and also carried out measurements of the actual work posture. Then, the design of a tool in the form of a machine to reduce repetitions that occur must be done by the operator and improve operator work posture while working.The results were simulated using software and found out that the risk of repetition, posture has been reduced and there is a time savings of 67%.
Pandemi Covid-19 yang saat ini masih berlangsung di seluruh dunia memaksakan perubahan berbagai kebiasaan sehari-hari dalam hidup. Salah satunya terkait dengan proses belajar mengajar yang saat ini dilakukan secara jarak jauh. Proses belajar mengajar yang dilakukan secara daring ini memaksa baik dosen maupun mahasiswa untuk beradaptasi dengan baik karena suasana belajar yang tentunya sangat berbeda dengan saat hadir langsung di dalam kelas. Metode pengajaran yang dilakukan dosen saat ini pun sangat beragam yaitu ada yang menggunakan metode konvensional, yaitu ceramah dengan menggunakan platform video conference, serta terdapat pula yang menggunakan metode flipped classroom. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan kedua metode tersebut untuk mata kuliah yang bersifat teoritis (tidak ada responsi) dan hitungan (ada responsi). Berdasarkan pengolahan data yang dilakukan maka diperoleh hasil bahwa tidak ada perbedaan yang signifikan baik untuk metode RSME dan NASA TLX, untuk strategi pengajaran konvensional atau flipped classroom untuk mata kuliah yang bersifat teoritis atau hitungan. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa proses pembelajaran jarak jauh ini memberikan beban mental yang cukup besar walaupun disajikan menggunakan strategi pengajaran apapun juga. Untuk meringankan beban mental mahasiswa dapat digunakan cara seperti membuat suasana kelas lebih kondusif dengan komunikasi dua arah, materi disajikan dengan lebih menarik, dan memberikan pendampingan saat proses pembelajaran dilakukan.
