Nurses are required to have sensitivity and ability to support patients' trust and welfare through caring behavior. Nurse caring behavior will have a significant influence on the patient's care process in the hospital. The aim of study was to determine the description of nurse’s caring behavior in nursing services in one hospital in Indramayu Regency 2017. The study used descriptive methode. Population was patients in the Inpatient Room of one hospital in Indramayu Regency. Samples were 96 respondents which selected by accidental sampling technique. Humanistic and Altruistic caring behaviors of nurses were 91.7%, provide trust were 82.3%, foster sensitivity to themselves and others were 69.8%, develop a relationship between mutual trust in patients were 77.1%, increase and receive expressions of positive and negative feelings towards patients were 77.1%, solving problems for decision making were 65.6%, increased learning and interpersonal teaching were 71.9%, creating supportive physical, mental, sociocultural, and spiritual environments were 81.3%, provide guidance in satisfying needs were 69.8%, and allowing for phenomenological stress to patient mental-growth and maturity pressure were 52.1%. Bayi Berat Lahir Rendah (BBLR) adalah berat bayi ketika dilahirkan tidak mencapai 2500 gram tanpa melihat usia kehamilannya. Pengetahuan yang baik akan menunjang pemberian perawatan yang baik pula terhadap BBLR. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengidentifikasi pengetahuan orang tua tentang perawatan pada bayi berat lahir rendah.Metode penelitian menggunakan deskriptif kuantitatif dengan populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah orang tua yang memiliki BBLR di Ruang Perinatologi UPTD RSUD Kabupaten Indramayu. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik consecutive sampling dengan jumlah 55 responden.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengetahuan orang tua tentang perawatan BBLR sebanyak 32 responden memiliki pengetahuan baik, pengetahuan pencegahan infeksi sebanyak 32 responden memiliki pengetahuan baik, pemberian nutrisi 28 responden memiliki pengetahuan kurang baik, termoregulasi dalam kategori kurang baik sebanyak 29 responden, perawatan metode kanguru (PMK) sebanyak 36 responden memiliki pengetahuan kurang baik, Family Centered Care (FCC) sebanyak 31 responden memiliki pengetahuan kurang baik.Saran penelitian ini untuk memberikan penyuluhan tentang perawatan pada BBLR dirumah kepada orang tua yang memiliki BBLR.
Kinerja perawat akan mempengaruhi lama hari rawat pasien, tingkat kepuasan pasien, juga citra rumah sakit. Pengelolaan pelayanan keperawatan dapat dioptimalkan salah satunya melalui fungsi pengarahan dari ketua tim. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh fungsi pengarahan ketua tim terhadap kinerja perawat di salah satu RS di Kabupaten Indramayu.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode korelasi dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Populasi penelitian adalah perawat di instalasi rawat inap salah satu RS di Kabupaten Indramayu. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling dengan jumlah sampel 70 perawat. Instrumen penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner untuk variabel pengarahan dan lembar observasi untuk variabel kinerja. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji Chi Square.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa fungsi pengarahan ketua tim sebanyak 52,9 % masih dikategorikan kurang baik dan kinerja perawat sebanyak 57,1 % kurang baik.Kesimpulan: Terdapat pengaruh fungsi pengarahan ketua tim terhadap kinerjaperawat (P value 0,000).Saran: diharapkan ketua tim dapat meningkatkan pengarahan terhadap perawat.
