The production of knowledge about Public Policies for Sport and Leisure and the viability of the development of new technologies aiming at the qualification of the public management of this sector were approached in this thesis. The problem detected refers, on the one hand, to the distance between researchers responsible for the academic-scientific and technological production and the workers involved in the formulation and management of such policies, and on the other hand, to the need to produce knowledge about the themes. The referred distance comes from both the ethos of the academic studies, steeped in an "academicism" disengaged with management, and the excessively pragmatic sense of the managers, who sometimes refuse theoretical formulations. Considering the problematization presented, the preliminary data collected in the development of previous researches and the results of the recent literature review, it was established the objective to promote the approximation of agents aiming, from the collective work, to identify, organize and systematize reliable information about the programs of sport and leisure implanted in the city of Goiânia, and make it available in a Geographic Information System. To achieve this objective, the historical method critical-dialectical was used as a parameter, aiming to unveil the process of inscription of the policy of sport and leisure in the recent history of the city, taken as reference for the development of a pilot study, which is fundamental to the development of a Geographic Information System. Beyond the theoretical background, inserted in the theory of knowledge of Marxist inspiration, this research can be characterized as a pilot study in which the techniques of bibliographical, documental and research field analysis were articulated. The bibliographical analysis had initially an exploratory character from which it was possible to produce a critical survey about the State of Art, enabling a more qualified apprehension about the pertinence of the geoprocessing in the management of public policies, making evident the social, scientific and contemporary relevance of the theme. Additionally, it enabled the survey and the analysis of an important bibliographical material that subsidized the discussion about the sport and leisure infrastructure required for the organization of the Worksheet Data and the Logical Matrix of the Programs used in the information collection, in the characterization of the spaces/equipments of the Program Draulas Vaz, and in the definition of the attributes needed for the development of the Software. The overcoming of the distance previously mentioned was not only possible but also necessary to the minimization of the effects of the dichotomy intellectual/manual work in the creation of the GIS-Sport and Leisure, which enabled to map the places where the politics was materialized, as well as the visualization of reliable information about the programs, qualifying the management and, therefore, the urban planning. No presente artigo pretende-se relatar uma experiência com o processo de formação de professores indígenas, no âmbito da educação física, realizado na Faculdade de Educação Física em janeiro de 2009. A formação de professores indígenas – Licenciatura Intercultural – é organizada pela Faculdade de Letras da UFG, tendo por objetivo a formação de professores para atuarem no ensino fundamental e médio das escolas indígenas. Dentre os conteúdos tratados no currículo do referido curso se encontra o tema contextual esporte e lazer, parte integrante da matriz de formação básica do professor. O texto ora apresentado se refere aos processos formativos do professor indígena, no que tange às trocas interculturais de conhecimentos acerca das manifestações da cultura corporal, em especial no esporte e lazer, tendo como metodologia norteadora do processo a pedagogia histórico-crítica.
O problema investigativo que dá origem a este texto relaciona-se à antinomia lazer e trabalho, considerando nesta relação o tema da liberdade e analisando- o à luz da ontologia do ser social. Pretende demonstrar a importância da impostação ontológica de Lukács para a reflexão sobre liberdade e necessidade. Assim, busca apontar como o lazer se configura no discurso dos autores que o perspectivam como um tempo de fruição da liberdade, para, num segundo momento, discutir a centralidade ontológica do trabalho e ajuizar a indissociabilidade entre liberdade e necessidade.
