Stres kerja merupakan kondisi seseorang dihadapkan pada peluang, kendala, dan tuntutan kerja terkait dengan apa yang diinginkan dan hasilnya. Meliputi gejala fisiologis, gejala psikologis, dan gejala perilaku. Penting bagi karyawan untuk memahami stres kerja dalam melaksanakan tugasnya agar karyawan terhindar dari pengaruh stres dalam bekerja, karena karyawan yang tidak memahami tentang stres kerja akan memunculkan berbagai permasalahan pada dirinya dalam melaksanakan pekerjaan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji (1) pengaruh kecerdasan emosi dengan stres kerja pada karyawan, (2) pengaruh efikasi diri dengan stres kerja pada karyawan, dan (3) pengaruh kecerdasan emosi dan efikasi diri dengan stres kerja pada karyawan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian bersifat kuantitatif, dengan menyebarkan kuesioner penelitian secara langsung kepada 60 karyawan Sales Promotion Girl (SPG) Nu Imej Agency and Event Organizer Yogyakarta. Pengumpulan data penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner stres kerja,kecerdasan emosi, dan efikasi diri. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa hasil uji pengaruh kecerdasan emosi dan efikasi diri secara simultan terhadap stres kerja memperoleh koefisien regresi sebesar 0,399 atau (p < 0,001). Hasil uji secara parsial menunjukkan bahwa pengaruh variabel independen yang memiliki pengaruh paling besar terhadap variabel dependen adalah efikasi diri dengan nilai beta = 0,380, sedangkan kecerdasan emosi dengan nilai beta = 0,076. Efikasi diri memberikan pengaruh sebesar 18,1% terhadap stres kerja, dan kecerdasan emosi memberikan pengaruh sebesar 16,1%.
