Calcium oxide was obtained from waste fish bones that has been carried out systematically by decomposition at various temperatures that 800 o C, 900 o C and 1000 o C for 4 hours. Calcium oxide from the decomposition process was characterized using XRD, FTIR, SEM EDX and SAA. The result of XRD Diffractogram showed that the crystallinity increased as the calcination temperature increased. The absorption bands in the FTIR spectra of calcium oxide from calcined waste fish bones shown at 355 cm -1 region indicated Ca-O vibration, which was reinforced by the emergence of a peak at 859 cm -1 . Based on the analysis using SEM EDX, the calcined waste fish bones typically irregular particles and contained dominant calcium element. The low value of BET surface area and the total of pore volume were consistent with the adsorption measurement with SAA. The calcium oxide was applied for biodiesel synthesis from Waste cooking oil through transesterification reaction. The result of the optimization that the calcium oxide was decomposed from waste fish bones at 900 o C. It exhibited best catalytic activity in the transesterification of waste cooking oil providing maximum biodiesel yield of 93% at 4% (w/v) of catalyst loading. The decomposition of biodiesel are determined by GC MS that produced methyl palmitate, methyl linoleate, methyl elaidate, methyl linoleolate, methyl stearate and methyl linolenate.

The availability of water is a problem for the people of Sidomulyo, Krikilan, Sragen at dry season. Having a higher altitude than other areas causes the water from the government water supply company difficult, reaching the area, particularly at the peak time. Some people using water from bore water also have the same problem of limited water. It is, therefore, necessary to bore the deep well for getting enough water to satisfy the people's needs. The deep level of the well should be enough to assure not to absorb the water source of people's well. In this program, the well with the deep of 81 m is bored, and PVC water pipes are placed inside the hole assuring only the deep bore water is taken out. This is aimed to avoid taking water from the low-level source, which may reduce the water going to the people's well. For pumping purposes, the submersible electric pump is used. It is 3 hp, 2500-Watt pump with a capacity of 18 m 3 per hour. From the 3-day pumping test, the capacity of well is very enough to provide water needs for the 34 families of Sidomulyo. High-water storage with the dimension of (2.4 x 2.4 x 2) m 3 has been constructed with a height of 7.4 m to the tank base. The power source is currently from the electrical utility but is planned will be from Solar Photovoltaic. From a financial perspective, the revenue from the water bill will support community activities.
Due to technological advancements and environmental concerns, wind power generation using wind turbines has increased significantly in recent years. In the current study, meteorological data over five years (2015 – 2019) have been used in order to estimate the Weibull distribution function, wind power, and energy density for ten meteorological stations in three provinces. Monthly and yearly wind speed variations are analyzed. The results demonstrated that the values of the shape and scale parameters are varied over a wide range for each site. Moreover, the results illustrated that the highest wind power potential occurs at Jayawijaya city with a potential of 36.23 w/m2. On the other hand, results showed that the monthly wind speed varies in a large range in each site. In the Jayawijaya city, for example, it ranged between 2.27 and 2.9 m/s, whereas in the Bogor Regency it ranged between 0.58 and 0.25 m/s. According to the predicted yearly power and energy densities, the evaluated sites are appropriate for small-scale power generation.
