Pulau Bali yang kuat dengan adat, tradisi, budaya dan spritualitas leluhur, menjunjung tinggi nilai agama Hindu. Masyarakatnya penuh berkesenian dengan perbendaharaan seni yang tinggi, terbukti berbagai macam jenis tarian ada di Bali, seperti ragam tari Legong (Lasem, Jobog, Nandir, Legod Bawa dan Kuntir). Dalam pembelajaran tari diperlukan berbagai pendekatan, metode, dan media agar peserta didik mudah memahami materi dengan baik. Setelah pembelajaran peserta didik terstimulus menjadi lebih tertarik, aktif dan kreatif serta menyenangkan Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode Reseacrh and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan prosedural. Tari Legong Kuntir Berbasis E-Book dapat dimanfaatkan guru sebagai media pembelajaran dan dimanfaatkan sebagai bahan belajar oleh peserta didik di SMK Negeri 3 Sukawati khususnya pada pmebelajaran tari Legong Kuntir.Kata kunci: E-Book, Metode, Tari Legong Kuntir
Creating an innovation in teaching Balinese and Javanese dances in English for the students of Dance department who learn English is an interesting and effective Way. This innovation has given a significant result that the students of Dance department have been able to explain the basic Balinese and Javanese dances movements in English after translating the existence of Balinese and Javanese dances and all terms related to them from Indonesian into English.This idea becomes one of the efforts to strengthen the steps of Indonesian Institute of the Arts (ISI) Denpasar in the international level and in reaching the vision to be the centre of excellent. There are three main discussions in this paper, namely, the existence of Balinese dance, the exsistence of Javanese dance, and teaching method in teaching Balinese and Javanese dances.The existence of Balinese and Javanese dances and some terms and terminologies associated with Balinese and Javanese dances and other things that are still relevant are described in the result ofthis study. It is very significant benefit in the teaching-learning process of English and of Balinese and Javanese dances as well This paper is a part of the result of competitive research grants funded by ISI Denpasar DIPA Number : DIPA-023-O4.1.673453/2015 dated November l4, 2015. The other result of this research has also been presented in the 6th International Seminar on Austronesia Languages and Literatures, Udayana University, Denpasar dated 28-29 Agustus 2015The method apllied is the translation research methods combined with dance research method, which is started with collecting the terms related to Balinese and Javanese dances , then translated into English. Furthermore, the translation results are tested in teaching dance to students majoring in Dance department and foreign students who studied at ISI Denpasar .Key words : innovation , teaching , Balinese and Javanese dances , dance department
Riau Malay Zapin dance is a traditional dance that still exists in Riau society. Zapin dance is also owned by other Malay communities in the archipelago. This study wants to find out how Malay is a very broad cultural area in the Indonesian Territory and neighboring countries (Brunei Darussalam, Malaysia and Singapore). The extent of the Malay area makes it the parent of scattered small Malay cultures, such as the mention of Minangkabau Malay, Riau Malay and Jambi Malay. The research method focuses on culture, namely an ethnicity influenced by foreign culture which is gradually accommodated and integrated, the occurrence of mutual interactions without losing personality with acculturation theory, on five interesting cases (observation method, acculturation process; psychology of the acculturation process; emergence of innovation; and attempts to resist acculturation process). The results show that the Riau Malay Zapin Dance is a dance that arises as a result of the interaction between two cultures (Malay and Arabic culture) and as an art product of Islamic religious culture. Initially brought by Arab traders in the Malacca Strait area in the early sixteenth century. Then this dance experienced acculturation with local Malay culture until it became a new culture. The blending of the two cultures gave birth to a new aesthetic that is different from the aesthetics of the Malays of the past and the aesthetics of the Arabs who came to Riau. Aesthetically, the Riau Malay Zapin Dance emphasizes the flowing pattern showing the beauty of the movement of the feet and hands. In Islamic rules/aesthetics, dancers do not move against Islamic values. There is no erotic movement (inviting lust). The Zapin dance movement is inspired by human activities with nature (environment). Each movement contains meaning and is rhythmic and patterned. The accompanying music is in the style of Islamic music with Marwas and Gambus instruments aesthetics.
Program Studi Pendidikan Sendratasik, Fakultas Seni Pertunjukan ISI Denpasar sebagai prodi baru yang terus berupaya mengembangkan pembelajaran yang unggul dan berkualitas. Untuk itu kajian ini dipilih mata kuliah olah tubuh sebagai salah satu kajian metode pengembangan yang memerlukan latihan gerak tubuh yang dipilih sesuai dengan pola gerak yang bersifat bebas. Pelatihan olah tubuh untuk meningkatkan kelenturan/flexibilitas tubuh, memaximalkan jarak jangkau persendian, menanamkan rasa estetika dan sensitifitas gerak, dan juga menambah ke-kuatan dalam meningkatkan stamina tubuh. Pembelajaran olah tubuh melalui variasi metodik dengan memanfatkan media fitness merupakan pengembangan metode pada mahasiswa program studi pendidikan Sendratasik yang belum pernah dilakukan sebelumnya. Pengembangan metode pembelajarannya masih tetap mengacu kepada metode-metode yang ada dan konvensional. Permasalahan kajian ini difokuskan pada pemilihan materi teknik gerak atraksi dan yoga beserta rumusan konsep geraknya yang memanfaatkan media fitness sebagai variasi metodiknya. Kemudian dilakukan penulisan istilah gerak olah tubuh, serta langkah-langkah untuk mengimplementasikannya.  Tujuan dan target penelitian ini untuk menghasilkan ‘produk teknik gerak†mengenai pembelajaran olah tubuh melalui variasi metodik yang memanfaatkan media fitness pada mahasiswa program studi pendidikan Sendratasik. Variasi metodik yang dihasilkan sebagai upaya penyesuaian potensi dan media fitness yang ada di Fakultas Seni Pertunjukan, agar fasilitas pembelajaran yang dimiliki lebih fungsional dan dapat dikembangkan secara berkelanjutan. Metode penelitian ini dengan pendekatan kualitatif, yang lebih menekankan pada â€metode variatifâ€. Mengutamakan variasi pembelajaran antara tim peneliti dan mahasiswa Program studi Pendidikan Sendratasik. Metode pengumpulan data melalui observasi partisipasi, wawancara, dan pelatihan yang terfokus pada mahasiswa. Hasil penelitian ini berupa deskripsi yang menjadi bahan terapan dasar bagi pembelajaran mata kuliah olah tubuh dan selanjutnya berkontribusi pada mata kuliah praktek tari yang lainnya.The Study Program of Sendratasik Education, Faculty of Performing Arts of ISI Denpasar as a new study program which continually strives to develop a superior and quality learning. Therefore, this study was chosen as a “olah tubuh†as a study of development methods that require exercise of body motion selected in accordance with the pattern of motion that is free. Exercise training to improve flexibility of the body, maximize joint distance, instill aesthetic sense and motion sensitivity, and also increase the strength in increasing body stamina. Learning of “olah tubuh†through methodical variation by utilizing the fitness media is the development of methods on the students of the course of Sendratasik education which has never been done before. The development of the learning method still refers to existing and conventional methods. The problem of this study focused on the selection of motion attraction and yoga techniques along with the formulation of the concept and motion that utilizes the media fitness as its methodical variation. Then do the writing of motion if the body, as well as steps to implement it. The objectives and targets of this research are to produce 'to move products' on learning “olah tubuh†through methodical variations that utilize the fitness media in the students of the Sendratasik education. Methodological variations are produced as an effort to adjust the potential and the existing fitness media in the Faculty of Performing Arts, so that the learning facilities owned are more functional and can be developed in a sustainable manner. This research method with qualitative approach, which more emphasis on "variatif method". Prioritizing learning variation between research team and student of Study Program of Sendratasik Education. Method of collecting data through participant observation, interview, and training which focused on student. The results of this study in the form of descriptions that become the basic applied materials for learning body fitness courses and then contribute to other dance practice classes.
Abstrak: Para guru seni budaya SMAN di Denpasar belum sepenuhnya memahami dan mengetahui tentang penciptaan baik teori dan praktek, sehingga banyak para siswa saat mendapat tugas tersebut harus mencari guru pelatih diluar sekolah dan harus membayarnya. Fenomena ini penting diantisipasi dan dicarikan solusinya, agar eksistensi penciptaan tari dapat dilakukan dengan mudah. Untuk itu perlu pembelajaran kelompok Guru Seni Budaya dalam Musyawarah Guru Mata Pelajaran (MGMP). Hal ini agar dapat mempermudah proses mencipta tari dan mampu memberikan pembelajaran teori dan praktek mencipta tari kreasi baru/kontemporer.Metode dekriptif dan pelaksanaannya menggunakan metode eksperimen imitasi, matematika, karakter dan transisi. Guru seni budaya ini diberikan pembelajaran langsung untuk mencipta tari yang selanjutnya dapat memberikan pembelajaran kepada peserta didik tingkat SMA, agar dapat meningkatkan kemampuan mencipta tari. Pembelajaran ini disambut antusias oleh segenap peserta dan menghasilkan 2 model karya tari kreasi dan kontemporer. Kata Kunci:Pembelajaran, Mencipta, Tari, dan MGMP
