ICP-MS is a new technology for environmental monitoring and analysis. This article summarizes the characteristics of ICP-MS and its application in the analysis of environmental samples such as soil and water, and summarizes mass spectrometry interference factors such as isobaric, oxide, double charge, and polyatomic ions, with a view to future ICP-MS.
