Kunming dian chi lake to pick to: the main southern culvert-pipe CFG pile composite foundation, illustrates the application of CFG pile mechanism, design calculation, construction process and the detection principle and its application effect is analyzed.
Beam-column connections of high-rise steel frames are usually welded, studies on seismic damages for nodes show that the existence of welding seam is the main reason which contributes to the brittle failure of nodes. This paper studies on the coming into being process of nodes, the deformation ability can be improved through changing welding order to reduce residual stresses for nodes. In the paper, numerical stimulations for nodes are conducted through finite element software. Distribution and peak value of residual stresses of beam-column connections are compared in accordance with different welding order. The analysis provides a theoretical basis for connection nodes in terms of utilizing their strength and ductility of steel.
Micro-pile of slope reinforcement type is more and more used in slope engineering, at the present stage most of the projects are designed by engineer experiences, theory researches are hysteretic, load transfer and mechanics characters are not clear. Combining with Heshun highway Slope treatment project, this micro-pile structure are analyzed with finite element method (FEM) under different conditions like different anchorage depths, pile diameters and displacements on the pile roof. Under these conditions the strain and stress are calculated, the results shows that: there is an optimal anchorage depth, under this depth the concrete can produce the best properties and save funds; increase the diameter will improve bearing capacity observably; the displacement of pile roof can also can be decreased if increase the modulus of elasticity.
The finite element method (FEM) is widely adopted in the geotechnical engineering, but there exist some problems in practical applications, such as the lack of unified standard to determine parameters and the limitation of the calculation method. This article determines the reasonable value of Poisson ratio, by comparing different Poisson ratios selected in the strength reduction of FEM calculations, and improves the gravity increase method in order to enhance its accuracy in the gentle slope stability analyses.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
