The existence of floating net cages/KJA (Keramba Jaring Apung) in the Cirata reservoir is one of the suppliers that stock fisheries needs in West Java by 40%. But along with this, the number of KJA is increasing and its existence has exceeded the legimate amount determined by the Decree of the Governor of West Java No. 41 of 2002 as many as 85,393 plots. The increase in the number of KJA in the Cirata reservoir has an impact on the decline in water quality and fish productivity. This study aims to determine the processes that cause the dynamics of fish productivity and changes in water quality for KJA aquaculture, building models that can be used as a means of analysis to explain the dynamics that occur, designing a sustainable KJA policy. The depiction of the situation is carried out using the system dynamics approach. System dynamics methodology is one of the policy modeling approaches, especially in terms of increasing understanding of how and why dynamic symptoms of a system occurs This model shows actual behaviour and simulation behaviour, based on historical data 2007-2017. The actual model and simulation show that the model and structure of the model are valid according to The Theil Statistical Test, while the model reference has also reflected its historical behaviour. Thus the model can be used for policy analysis. To formulate a sustainable KJA (floating net cage farming) policy, the policy analysis used is in the period of 2007-2040. The model structure in this research is made based on the relationship between KJA farming dynamics, productivity, policy, KJA waste, eutrophication cycle, O2 availability and technology. These variables cause eutrophication in the Cirata Reservoir and affect the production and productivity of fish for the long term. Based on these differences, the hypotheses have been proposed which cover farming of KJA productivity and eutrophication of reservoir waters. First, the model is used to simulate the likelihood of the increasing presence of KJA and the deteriorating water productivity and quality in the next 20 years. Then, by analyzing the possible scenario, the policy scenario is designed to overcome the problems that occur.
Communities and companies in Indonesia are experiencing economic difficulties due to the corona pandemic (Covid-19). The purpose of this service is to help people or companies affected by Covid-19 that apply environmentally friendly technology, are easy to apply and generate benefits for partners, especially employees who have been laid off so they can work again, while the applied technology used is aquaponic techniques for cultivating vegetables and fish which mutually beneficial, the method of collaboration used is a partnership with one of the companies affected by the impact of Covid-19 (CV TMR), the use of unused goods or materials that are in the partner also to optimize dead land to be used and utilized into productive areas. The aquaponics model used is the DFT (Deep Flow Technique) system, DFT is a hydroponic planting system that uses puddles in the installation and uses slow-flow circulation. This system uses electricity as a pump drive so that it can easily circulate nutrients to all plant roots, the process of making until harvesting fish is 3 months with the results of partners getting an additional stage of 1,632,000, while the benefits obtained from partners are the environmental area becomes more comfortable and comfortable to be an attraction for visitors. for the next program an aquaponics system will be built on a land of 30 mx 1.5 m with the assumption of ten times the profit per harvest (per three months).
Penyerbukan serangga merupakan salah satu upaya peningkatan efisiensi produksi tanaman berbuah pada lahan terbatas. Penelitian bertujuan mengamati aktivitas dan efisiensi penyerbukan serangga liar dan Tetragonula laeviceps pada tanaman ranti dan kacang panjang dengan sistem tanam tumpang sari di Desa Sukawangi, Kabupaten Sumedang pada bulan September hingga Januari 2020. Pengamatan dilakukan pada pukul 08:00-15:00 WIB selama periode perbungaan. Pengamatan dilakukan pada perlakuan aplikasi T. laeviceps, open-pollination, dan self-pollination, masing-masing perlakuan terdiri atas 100 bunga ranti dan 100 bunga kacang panjang dan dianalisis menggunakan one way analysis of variance (α = 0.05). Aktivitas serangga diukur berdasarkan flower handling time, foraging rate, visitation rate, dan fruit set. Kualitas buah diukur berdasarkan diameter, bobot, panjang, dan oBrix. Hasil penelitian ditemukan masing-masing tiga serangga pengunjung berpotensi polinator pada ranti dan kacang panjang dengan pola kunjungan bervariasi pada open-pollination. Efisiensi fruit set tertinggi ranti terjadi pada perlakuan aplikasi T. laeviceps dan kacang panjang pada perlakuan open-pollination. Terdapat perbedaan nyata pada oBrix buah ranti dan kacang panjang, sedangkan self-pollination hanya menghasilkan buah yang secara signifikan lebih panjang pada kacang panjang. Dengan demikian, T. laeviceps dapat dijadikan salah satu alternatif serangga penyerbuk terdomestikasi dalam upaya efisiensi fruit set dan kualitas buah tanaman ranti dan kacang panjang. ABSTRAKGout merupakan penyakit metabolik yang disebabkan oleh kadar asam urat yang tinggi dalam darah. Kandungan flavonoid yang pada tanaman suruhan diduga dapat menurunkan kadar asam urat dalam darah.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efek pemberian ekstrak etanol 70% suruhan (Peperomia pellucida) terhadap kadar asam urat tikus Spragua Dawley yang diinduksi kalium oksonat. Kondisi hiperurisemia didapatkan dengan memberikan50 mg/200 g BB kalium oksonat (inhibitor urikase) Sebanyak 30 ekor tikus putih jantan galur Sprague Dawley dengan berat 150-200 g dibagi secara acak kedalam lima kelompok perlakuan yaitu kelompok tikus yang diberi ekstrak 200 mg/kgBB (I), 300mg/kgBB(II), dan 450mg/kgBB(III), allopurinol 36 mg/200 g BB(V/kontrol positif) dan kelompok IV (kontrol normal ) yang hanya mengandung larutan CMC 0,5% dan tidak diinduksi kalium oksonat dan tidak diberi ekstrak.. Pemberian sediaan uji dilakukan secara oral dan induksi diberikan secara intraperitonial pada semua kelompok kecuali kelompok IV yang merupakan kontrol normal. Sediaan uji dibuat dalam bentuk tersuspensi dalam CMC 0,5%.Pengukuran kadar asam urat dalam darah dilakukan secara POTC (Point Of Care Test). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ekstrak etanol 70% suruhan pada dosis 200 mg/kg BB , 300 dan 450 mg/kgBB dapat memberi pengaruh terhadap kadar asam urat sama baiknya dan tidak berbeda nyata dengan allopurinol sebagai kontrol positif,Kata kunci : Asam urat, Hiperurisemia, Peperomia pellucida, Kaliumn Oksonat, Suruhan
Palm sap (Neera) is a sweet liquid that is obtained from the cutting of flower bunches of sugar palm (Arenga pinnata Merr). Nira used as a raw material for making palm sugar. Palm sugar with good quality depends on the quality of the sap processed. The research was conducted to study the different quality of nira in household processing of palm sugar based on differences in storage containers (lodong), namely traditional containers using bamboo and modern containers using aluminium. Harvesting of the nira was conducted in the morning and afternoon time. Observations were carried on chemical quality (pH and total soluble solid), organoleptic perception (color, aroma, and taste), and the number of bacterial colonies (total plate count). The results showed that then treatments using aluminium container had better quality of nira with a mean value of pH 6.95, mean value of TSS 13.7 Brix, the organoleptic perceptions of color is more clear, taste is sweet, and fragrant smell; and the mean number of bacterial colonies is 12.5.
